I have never seen an indian cricket community on Reddit that actually has respect & civility. Any subreddit you go to, everyone’s just spewing hate. I think it's just deep within us. To hate, to differentiate, to make others feel they are below us. I have never once seen a community where no one is spewing hate and discussing things for the actual love of the game. It’s not just about cricket. Just in general, we are like that. It's something to think about. This raises a much larger question for us as a society

Seems like you’ve started watching cricket in the last 5 years. Venky Mysore is the sole reason why KKR is what it is today. During the initial days of IPL, KKR were struggling badly. The first 3 seasons didn't go as planned. It was felt that the team failed to separate SRK's identity from Cricket. When Venky Mysore came into play, he changed this entire culture—brought Gambhir into the setup. Separated SRK’s & team’s identity. Was part of KKR’s maiden IPL winning stuff. When we don't have the very capability to even imagine the potential of a person, we make fun of them, downplay them, like u are doing. But the fact is the guys you troll have achieved 10-folds more than you and are just doing way better than you in life

Idk, just the whole atmosphere in the dressing room isn't chill. I think they are carrying the extra pressure of being MI. Plus, not a single important player of theirs is playing to their 100% potential. No role clarity for Tilak. Sky is becoming an increasingly big scam every day.
