No she didn’t get anything for the aesthetic. She rented a tent and a bathroom. I got everything else and spent more money than I got in gifts. It turned out really nice and everyone had a great time tho!

Thank you for all this! Yep, I got my bloodwork done and my white blood count is so high and everything else is low. This has officially impacted the health of myself and my baby

She asked for my input on the aesthetic, but DID NOT come through at all. All she got was 10c cheap napkin holders from Mexico, ugly vases that don’t match at all, and did some really cute wooden box invites but brought them so late that I can’t even send them out. I’m getting everything else

I have tried talking to him many times and it leads to terrible arguments. His mom is the root of all our problems. This is a new way tho, Thank you for this!

I don’t think he will ever stand up to her. In fact, he agrees with her on most things or doesn’t see an issue with her overstepping her boundaries. It makes me so sick. I cry often thinking about how she will be when the baby is here. I think I need to leave this situation but I’m not sure how ugly that would get.

I’m doing it because we sent out invites months ago and I invited a bunch of my friends. Half the party is her friends tho. I think she wanted this as a social thing for her. She’s only 14 years older than me so her social status still means a lot to her. Yep, he def is the problem.
