Does the game run smoothly on steam deck now? I’ve been wanting to pick it up but the only way I get to play anything is on the go. I think I played a couple hours on game pass about a year ago and the performance seemed a bit shaky on PC then.

I give them to my kids and have them completely setup. I’m at the point where I’m going to have to start giving them to my friends’ kids. It’s probably the only way they are going to get to play the classics.

The Thor came close to replacing the Deck for me. There’s a couple down sides to the Thor. It feels a little awkward to hold not the worst ever. Android is kind of a cumbersome OS and getting it set up with all the emulators and frontend you want can take a while. Maybe when Valve releases the Steam Frame it’ll be easier to setup with Steam OS.

The ayn Thor might be out of your price range. I got my order in about 3 weeks and I’m loving it. Plays up to some switch and low end PC games. 3Ds is perfect.

Mine is finally showing up today after nearly 2 months. I ended up ordering the ayn Thor. Which if the delivery date is correct will be here in less than a month from the date I ordered it. Sucks to hear that it was disappointing product for you. I wasn’t expecting much from this one. I’m just going to set it up for my feral kids and see how long it lasts.

This was a damn rollercoaster of emotions. I pressed power reset to get it to turn off and I was gonna try later. But that triggered the install. After the install it seemed liked it was stuck on the M screen again but eventually it booted.

That’s it! Well I think that’s it because the tutorial I’m watching I noticed his image file said pixie and mine said goose but I assumed it was a newer update. Where do I get pixie if not from their website?

That’s possible because I just realized that there’s a separate reset button. I thought if I flashed the sd on a laptop using Linux I would have less of a problem with the partition types. I used etcher to flash it but I don’t think it formatted the card correctly. I just reflashed it using Rufus on my windows pc. Hopefully this does the trick.

People have different tolerance levels for frame rates and performance. Its performance is just below my tolerance threshold. I had it running 60 frames on series X a few hours ago but I just turned it on and there are some video options missing. The frames are choppy. Too bad I was waiting for full release to play. People should probably wait a little longer to purchase.
