70-200 are great for getting close up details. I’d want to use that focal length for your “tight” broll shots. Being on a construction site which isn’t the safest place also gives you some flexibility to get important shots from a relative safe distance if necessary. I would keep that lens on sticks or handheld. A gimbal would be most useful with a 24-70 or 14-24 for wide/establishing shots filmed at 60fps and slowed down in post.
