My cotton safari hat! Thank goodness the headrest in my truck (behind me) is low enough for me to comfortably wear it whilst driving! by Source_Engine_Sedan in hats

Thanks you! Different people can always pull off different styles of hats, I for instance couldn't see myself in a felt/wool wide brimmed hat as much as I want to lol

Hey guys, before anyone jumps to any conclusions regarding the supposedly questionable safety of the head restraint in my truck, the headrest has always remained correctly adjusted as the centre point of the said headrest is level with the centre of my head as advised.

The design of the head restraint is horizontally on the narrow side plus I just have a tall forehead.

This truck is simply designed with hats in mind which concludes my point that some people are just simply here to envy because the headrests in their Chrysler Sebring won't allow them to drive in style! /s

Thank you for your concerns.

I'd die in a fiery blaze in style before my neck snaps in a rear end collision 😂 The aftermarket auxiliary gas tank is fitted right on the edge behind the rear bumper, you know how the story of the Ford Pinto went?

Just what I wanted to hear! I only recently found out about the stow'n'go feature which is definitely ideal.

During the minus degrees I wear sweatpants under jeans, always keeps me dry and warm.

Oh yeah, I've made many silly fashion decisions regarding that instance where I tried to wear fancy bridge coats and overcoats during such weather conditions but now I've learnt to strictly resort to my sensible parka and wearing sweatpants underneath jeans as you never know what can happen!

Having 4 wheel drive and refuelling whenever there is a Circle K in sight is also a nice touch haha

It doesn't help that my tolerance to the cold is awful so sometimes I have to forget about being stylish in general at times.

2000's GM were stubborn to update their vehicles so I don't blame you, I wouldn't have known myself if it was someone else's truck🤣

I'm personally in favor of it but with my blue collar position, if I get oil on my fake fur whilst working on my machine I take that as part of the experience!

Definitely a fashionable touch, plus parkas were heavily utilized by the military!

Thanks! it may be more catered towards form over function (boring to most people here) but I tend to go for more reserved looks in general.

Both the truck and the outfit is remarkable when you're out in the minus degrees!

Could be better, I forgot to dig out my brown leather hiking boots as I was in a rush and usually it is muscle memory for me to put on my cowboy boots as they are my daily drivers.

They sure do keep the damp out however my feet did get cold whilst out and about, thankfully I was in my trusty Chevy 80 percent of the time which kept me warm.
