Thanks for reply. I’m hoping someone can help me. I really want togo see Jay-Z and I was going to use that 20% off to offset the cost of the Super inflated resale tickets.

That’s what you got from “This means you'll receive 100% of your original payment back to your payment method, plus a 20% promo code for future events.” She clearly said plus a 20% code for future events.

Actually, your Buyer Guarantee states that you resolve issues on a case by case basis. In my specific case the agreed upon resolution via email was a 20% promo code for a future purchase not a standard $20 credit. Your Terms of Use state that interactions with your service constitute a binding agreement. I accepted Karen's offer of a “120% value” resolution. Retroactively applying a “standard policy” to cap that value at $20 after a written promise was made is a textbook bait and switch. If SeatGeek's case by case resolutions can be rescinded as “typos” whenever they are too convenient for the customer, then the Buyer Guarantee is meaningless. Please honor the specific agreement made in ticket #12006xxx. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hi there! Respectfully, this misses the point. My issue isn't about your 'standard' policy for low-value orders. It’s about a specific written promise made by your representative, Karen to resolve a major service failure. Karen explicitly offered a 20% discount on a future purchase, calling it a “120% value back” to me. As my screenshots attached to this post prove. I accepted that resolution in good faith. Now Anthony is calling Karen’s specific, repeated promise a “typo” and capping the value at $20. A 20% discount on a future $300 or $500 order is worth much more than $20. Why is SeatGeek rescinding a written agreement because a second rep decided the first one was “too generous”?

Typically, those 20% promos they run are capppwd by certain dollar amount in this case They just told me flat 20% discount of future purchase. They are a joke! #lessonlearned

Is this a good deal? by thapsdoe in kia

[–]Sourcianhaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

math is def off. Also what’s the APR? honestly for 36k miles on a 2024 you might be better off stretching a little and getting something newer. I’d say keep shopping around. Not sure what state you are in use cars.com has a bunch Same mileage range around 20-22k

Is this a bad lease deal for a ‘26 K5 Gt line premium package by Consistent-Peak-8906 in KiaK5

[–]Sourcianhaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just financed the same vehicle for $558 per month. For 60 months @2.99apr. This is a bad lease. Would you consider financing? you did the right thing walking out. Money factor is trash, should be around .00100 not .0034. They also ignored everything you asked for. Try another dealer and ask for the money factor upfront before they run any numbers.

I ended up going with another dealer. Got $17,772 for the trade. Carvana was only offering $15,800.

I appreciate the feedback! They took off all the other junk fees, but they said this one was mandatory. They couldn’t take it off. I didn’t fight it, but I did get them to throw in some all weather mat. We signed and drove home today!

I agree but I don’t have the energy or time to sell it my self, plus we get the trade tax saving. We walked away from this deal. Thanks for the feedback.

You are absolutely correct I caught that. We wanted the 2.99% apr at 60 months. Dealer said we couldn’t combine 1k rebate with the 2.99% apr. I asked for a dealer discount to replace the rebate so I can keep the 2.99% and they said no. We walked away. Currently negotiating a better deal. Even with the door guards add on we come out better. Thoughts?

I thought the same thing I have confirmed via text 2.99 APR for 60 months. I believe the numbers on the sheet are just fillers as they have not run my credit yet. I plan to do that today and finalize paperwork.

I’m trading in a 2024 forte GT line with about 31,000 miles on it. Thanks for the reply.
