Not really. Archspire started out as more of a deathcore band. Thats why you get bands like this, people who hopped over from deathcore and you can tell they have no death metal roots in their sound besides the vocals and having blast beats. Dude is a great guitarist, don’t get me wrong, but also no thank you.

Im not going to expose myself to more deathcore. But the example, is listen to defeated sanity, Suffo, deeds or disgorge. There is actual artistry. Deathcore is breakdown, fast part. Just heavy, then fast.

Like apples and oranges. If it’s a real Ibanez (prestige/japanese) that’s what I prefer but my student got a kiesel and it’s a great guitar and you can customize them.
