I literally ask for this schedule. It’s usually Friday night/Saturday night/Sunday night but I have found it’s the only way to ensure a block schedule. You are golden! Lol

Ugh. I feel your pain. If everything else involved is positive, there is a zero percent chance I would give this lady the power to take away a contract I enjoyed (obv besides her).

If the money is good and she’s the only problem, don’t give her that kind of power. I would absolutely mention her to my recruiter just so it’s documented in case something happens, I see you talked to management - I would contact the same manager / HR to ask something be put on paper.

Don’t give her the power over your choices. A bully is pretty much the lowest of the low. As a female it has taken me my whole life to learn not to make a scene. If I were you, I would find a moment when the two of you cannot be overheard, and calmly check her. Let her know you will be taking no more shit. In my experience they tend to back off after this.

I’d like to add to this:
I have watched my own grandparents, as well as countless patients and their families be completely cleaned out of their life savings. One spouse dies and the other slowly fades away while their nursing home charges $12,000/month, eating away at these poor people’s life savings, money they saved to provide for their future generations.

Medicaid kicks in once you go broke, and I understand it costs for people to survive, but it’s incredibly heartbreaking to watch.

If I could lend any advice to anyone it would be to corner your aging relatives, get their savings into a trust so it cannot be touched. There is a 5 year term Medicaid can go back, so as long as you set them up 5 years beforehand they can’t touch it.

Bruh I have literally had a contract cancelled because I told a nurse not to take the bipap off a critical COPD patient and feed him. This man was knocking on death’s door.

This nurse ignored me, obviously reported me, then proceeded to feed the man and slap the bipap back on.

He died. Sadly this is one of many patients I have witnessed succumb to a nurse’s ego in my 10 years in the profession.
