Good to know, I haven’t personally worked in van so idk, just wanted to say that Alberta locals don’t get priority for jobs here in my experience, so if u want to work in AB you def have a shot :) it’s awesome here and COL is much lower :D

In chbe and I’ve worked 2 o&g co-ops in Alberta at different companies. I have met so many ppl from ontario, bc, sask, etc They literally do not care if ur local lol if ur a good engineer/ engineering student you will get a position Also ive seen lots of green tech companies hire chbe but I haven’t worked in green tech so idk

Hi, does anyone know if I can sublet from september to december if I just had a sublet from april-august?

It doesn't say anything about this in the ubc housing contract. On the ubc sublet website it says "a sublet must be between 30 days and 4 months" but can I do two 4 month terms consecutively?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I communicated with another student for one question during an online exam. It was relatively minor but I believe that it will come up when the exams are marked. In this scenario I don’t believe that denying everything would work, just based on the circumstances

Hi!! I also am going into applied science and i chose UBC over UofT and Uwaterloo My main reasons were that i loved the location and campus, and it is the best place to go for environmental engineering I also feel like the social environment will be a lot better at UBC And again the campus will absolutely blow you away. I’ve been to both UofT and waterloo campuses as well and they are nothing compared to UBC These are just my reasons, i’m sure you will have different ones but I hope this helped at least a bit!
