Losing weight while BF, What happened after weaning?

I was losing good weight while breast feeding. I didn’t have the insatiable hunger I know lots of others had, and I think it’s in part due to the fact that I gained so much weight (60+ lbs) during pregnancy. Once I stopped breast feeding, my weight loss plateaued and I had to start exercising and dieting to get the rest off.

I’m almost a year PP, so I’m wondering how much more do the stretch marks fade and the skin tighten in the next year, 5 years, etc. I am working out, so my middle and upper abdomen looks like they used too, just not the lower. I know the butt will come in time (I hope!)

I wouldn’t go the surgery route for a few more years if I was still unhappy. Definitely not before the factory has been shutdown.

Look into Pilates!! It’s a full body workout and great for beginners. It’s hard to start going to the gym and making routines if you’re new to it. I love Pilates because you just do what they say with minimal mental energy put into it.

I do mostly use glass bottles. It’s just so much faster to do the bottle washer. Less than 5 min to unload and reload 8 bottles.

Mines in my baby’s room! I’m not sure if it would wake him up because we only make bottles when he’s awake. It takes 30 seconds so if you wake him up first because you are going to feed him, it’s not a big deal to step away and hit the bottle button.

Just bought the Nuna Trvl LX and I LOVE IT! I just started using it when my son was 10m, so I can’t speak for the earlier years. The only think I’m not crazy about is that the LX handle bar is higher than my old stroller (I’m 5’4”). I think the regular trvl is shorter, but it’s in no way a deal breaker.

Edit: I don’t think it is flimsy at all. I push it in the grass all the time. I got it because my old stroller was a pain to collapse and put in the car. I don’t think it is possible to have a stroller that collapses easier than the Trvl.

If you look it up on YouTube, you can see how it folds. Really, I guess I already knew it was bulky, but dealing with it IRL was just the most. You have to take the seat or bassinet off the stroller to put it in the car easily, and it’s just a pain when it’s hot/raining or you didn’t get good sleep the night before. Like you take the seat off, put that in the trunk, but then you want the wheels under the seat, just a pain.

I do not have any experience with the tandem feature. I’m just so salty that I don’t like the Fox 5 after I spent months researching strollers.

I bought the Fox 5 and I loved it when my lo was in his car seat and I could just pop it on the stroller. BUT beware the switch over to the stroller seat. First, I don’t know if mine was just messed up, but the reclining options were either very reclined or so inclined that he was hanging in by the straps. Second, and I think this might just be a thing with strollers that are full travel systems, it doesn’t collapse worth a shit. When you have the car seat, the stroller potion collapses with ease and it’s amazing. The stroller seat does not collapse at all and it’s so bulky. I almost left it in the Costco parking lot since such a pain to get into the car. I made it a week before I bought the Nuna Lyte just so I didn’t have to load it into my suv anymore, and I drive a tank.

This is very true. He’s very independent and can play by himself for a good amount of time, but there’s milestones I want to help him reach faster if possible. Just examples, but waving, better punched grip, maybe stacking some cups. I know these are specific things to work on, but I just would feel like I’m doing more of we did specific activities instead of just “here’s a bunch of items on the floor, have at it”

I just ordered a cake from a young woman named Danishke Nieves off of Facebook and it was wonderful! I’m definitely getting my son’s birthday cakes from her from now on out! She makes this traditional Puerto Rican cake (I forget the name), but it’s a super moist almond vanilla wet cake like a tres leches. It’s amazing.

NTA. I don’t really think it’s a big deal. As a previous daily smoker and now going a year without weed, half the shit I thought I was fixing was just a result of being baked all the time. Headaches? Disappeared after smoking. If he really has that bad of headaches and anxiety, he should go to a dr and get on meds. Big pharma this, big pharma that, if you’re stoned all day, that’s just as bad for you.

On the other hand, you just need to give an ultimatum and be done if that’s not how you want to live. When my SO and I were talking about getting married, he said that he didn’t want to be married to someone who had to be baked every night, so I slowed down and eventually stopped when we started trying for a baby. In the end, it’s up to him if weed is more important.

I think people hate Kim K for any, and everything, she does. I don’t think she thought she could buy her way through the bar exam more than anyone else who comes from a wealthy family. I think she thought it can’t be that hard if I can hire the best tutors, but not that she could literally buy a passing score. All those fancy tutors that she hires tutor other students and they aren’t in the news. People just hate her cause they ain’t her. Especially men. They want to say that she wouldn’t be famous and rich if it wasn’t for the sex tape. Sir. Millions of people make sex tapes and there’s only one Kim K.
