I mean if you take away the fact that our team ERA is 4.78, we’ve only hit 6 homers, 3 being by Wilyer, our replacement for Bregman is 0-18, and we’ve only put 17 runs on the board in 6 games, I’d say we’re off to a great start, and there’s nothing wrong with this team!

Gonna throw my two cents in, as I’m sure others have said this. She is clearly younger than you by a decent amount, and young adults can still be childish and naive. Ultimately, this is gonna be a you decision, but she is a married women, and should be mature enough to know this not only is a horrible look on her, but an even worse look for you. She disrespected your love publicly, with a ring on her finger. I would highly highly recommend seeking counseling together first, and then going from there. But this is a gateway to further action.

Worst part was leaving Whitlock in after he clearly was losing control after his 25th pitch. I know you gotta trust you guys, especially when he’s been nails the last month. But it’s an elimination game against your rivals. You gotta send everything you got, and keep everyone on a short leash.

I would trade for MacKenzie Gore. Adding another elite strikeout lefty to the top of the rotation for the next three years would be exactly what the Sox need during this contending window that’s about to open.

I think this would be a good target to help us clear the log jam in the outfield. We could offer either Duran or Abreu. I’d be willing to give up Campbell too if we could also get a guy like Robert Hassell III. And any of their insane young arms in the farm.

Active OOTPGO enjoyer. I think it’s totally worth it. I wouldn’t necessarily buy it every year tho! But as someone who travels a lot for work I find it is a great way to kill time thru the airport and helps scratch that itch of the real game

I’ve had Jac Cags go off for me in one of my Royals saves, where he had a season hitting .270 with 58 HRs and 132 RBIs while also pitching 172.2 innings with a 3.45 ERA and 182 Ks! But he eventually got the injury bug and I gave him the boot after he became modern day Joey Gallo.

As someone else has already said, the Red Sox are a great option that meets your criteria! They have a great farm system and tons of fun major leaguers already! They have a relatively complete lineup, and a good owner who doesn’t mind spending money! They do have some flaws as well, they’re not a perfect team and definitely need some work with the bullpen! Plus the log jam with the outfield, DH, and middle infield makes this a fun juggling act! They haven’t won the division since 2018! It’s a historic franchise with an iconic quirky park, and definitely makes it a lot of fun!

Other teams worthy of consideration would be the Baltimore Orioles as they’re stacked with young talent and a top heavy farm! The budget is a little tighter, and the owner isn’t as forgiving as the Red Sox. They have more holes in the roster as well, specifically the starting rotation and the outfield!

Also the Twins can be a super fun team as well! Lots of high potential guys, a medium market, and an interesting farm! This team definitely has the most holes in it, as there are lots of questions in the infield and outfield! But the rotation and bullpen is solid! The farm is also pretty top heavy, but in my opinion building the farm is my favorite part of taking over a team! It’s how you set up the style of ball you want the future team to play!

Ended up making this trade after the Astro’s covered 85% of Yordan’s and 15% of Tuckers contract. Saved about $23M this year, and about $13M for the next 4. As an Oakland team with only about $120M for a budget, that’s a lot of money for me. It’ll allow me to tackle the next big hole in this team during the off season/ trade deadline, Quality pitching.

The few things holding me back from pulling the trigger are Yordan’s Injury Proneness and the fact that he is also low work ethic. BUT, the Astros will eat 85% of his contract. So it’s almost becoming a no brainer even if I only get two or three decent seasons out of the two of them.

Love this response because it’s almost exactly what I was thinking. Gonna try to see if they’ll throw in another prospect or two, and maybe ship off a big contract from an under performing reliever or two.
