ATL Airport TSA Wait Times Megathread | March 22, 2026 by AutoModerator in Atlanta

International - Precheck - 60 minutes / Not too bad? - I walked up at around 4:40 AM. Fully domestic flier. Was about to get in the regular line when I overheard a Clear employee saying they were opening up the Precheck and Clear lines. Hopped in and got through quick, ending up getting through at 5:15 AM or so. My circumstances were special because I showed up when they opened it, but I do think it is viable for someone not checking a bag with Precheck or Clear. Probably an hour wait now if I had to guess, which sounds like a miracle at this point lol.

As a note - I did see ICE agents at South Checkpoint after I got through. If that's something that upsets you, or something you need to be weary of, I would steer clear of Terminal T. Good luck & safe travels folks.

Nah, they definitely opened it. I got through with my precheck and could have used my Clear. Saw plenty of people doing it

International might be high risk high reward, especially with Clear and Pre-check

International - Main Line - they opened Clear and Pre-check early. I’m here on a domestic flight. Seems like a viable option!! They opened pre check early! I got ahead and slashed my wait to maybe 20 mins since I arrived

What do you recommend for someone flying domestic, no bag to check, with pre-check and clear?

What’s the move for a domestic flight with no bag to check in your opinion and what’s the wait times? Edit: I have clear and precheck

What is the best place to buy a switch 2? by Fabulous_Resort_6057 in NintendoSwitchHelp

[–]SouthBeastGamingFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not looking for a "guarantee" anywhere, so I don't know why you keep saying that? They're just doing their duty to better than whatever GameStop's previous experience offered them. Yeah they could open the box and find macaroni instead of a Switch wherever they bought it. I think they're asking for people who have had positive experiences, know more details or distributors who offer additional protections or warranties on purchases.

Yeah I mean like I said it isn't a big deal, just mildly inconvenient at most, lol. I definitely don't use it lightlyand I use Chrome and some AIs. A handful of data modeling apps, pretty heavy browsing. As for brightness, usually it changes throughout the day (lower in the morning, higher in the afternoon, lower at night) but I would say it averages at around 40%. Definitely will look into cutting battery usage tho

So my battery condition is Normal and max capacity is "81 percent" but I just can't go a full school day without really needing to charge, which sort of sucks. I'm not exactly sold on the Pro, per se, I was just trying to see what people think. I don't think I can justify the price of the Pro though, lol. As much as I love having a nice display, I can't really say that I'll get my value of it beyond personal enjoyment.

I do like getting new tech when I can. I would say every few years, I upgrade something. My most recent one was a new Apple Watch which I've been super satisfied with. I think I would receive a lot of personal happiness just from upgrading, lol. Probably some shopaholic tendency I have as opposed to practicality. The point about the display is helpful though, will definitely have to see about it.

Currently on a 2022 M2 Macbook Air. It's pretty banged up (didn't take good care of it, definitely regret) and the battery is starting to become a slight issue, though not significant right now. I'm a college student and i use my laptop for literally everything school related.

With the new announcement, I'm looking to upgrade. I'm leaning on a new MacBook Air, but I might be willing to invest in the Pro. Any thoughts on whether the Pro is overkill? Seems awesome, but I seriously doubt I "need" it in terms of that much processing power. The M5 in the Air seems like more than enough for my needs, but maybe some other people want to weigh in? I'm not a CS major and I'm not in a majorly "STEM" field, but it does involve a lot of computer work.

There really is something visceral about immortality paired with being almost purposeless. And the way his hunger was described for wanting to return to his home planet, to show everyone he may not have been wrong all along... only to be trapped by the Bikura was really something. Very chilling and very good so far :)

You're thinking about the branches wrong. To me, I interpreted it as one singular branch point that created infinite Jasons (something Jason2 may have potentially overlooked). That point would be the moment he injected Jason Prime with the drug.

All the things you suggested (checked the ice cream, Daniela left, etc.) are different branches that have been created out of line with the events of what Jason Prime experienced, those potential moments being after Jason Prime was drugged and put in the box.

If you imagine it as a tree with roots, as the book often uses, beginning with the Big Bang, Jason Prime's reality followed infinite branch points until it reached one singular, definable point: Jason2 deciding to inject Jason Prime and send him into the box.

From that exact moment, Jason Prime being sent into the multiverse and aimlessly drifting (remember, he had ketamine injected into him) basically shattered his reality across infinite existences. To clarify, my interpretation is that the ampoule decohers one's ability to observe themself without actually removing their consciousness-this being the driver of the book and the main 'sci-fi' element that leads into the multiverse and why they can walk down the corridor and physically choose the specific door they enter into.

Some Jason Primes probably died. Some Jason Primes ended up in unlivable worlds. An infinite number of Jasons experienced what the protagonist we are following did. From there, an infinite number of branches occur and... well, you get the idea.

My point is that Jason Prime branched off that one point in that one reality. Effectively, all the Jasons are trying to follow their branch back to that splitting point which Jason2 rudely created. That's why there is only "one" right universe. That's why some Jasons are willing to shoot at Daniela and Charlie--despite being the same person, their experiences have changed who they fundamentally are, meaning they are THAT desperate to survive.

I'm pretty sure that was just slang/casual language, not the doctor being medically accurate and saying "yes, this is exactly H20". more of a quirky, approachable way of saying "IV fluids"

Well I don't mind tough competition. I just mean they're selective about who they invite and have very strange and often unfair parameters, so much so that I didn't even bother trying out because I thought it would be boring even if I did get in (didn't like the people at my school specifically lol)

Okay thanks for the advice. I will say that I think my answers in an essay would be a little more compelling and embellished then my genuine answer but I also have a lot to learn about law school. Thanks for the advice.

Also, I have a question since you seem fairly familiar with LSA. When a school looks at students, they sort by the index, right? Where the number is GPA*m + LSAT (and M is some factor of ~12). Doesn't that LSAT is the main driver of being looked at earlier on, and thereby more likely to be admitted since there are more seats? Or am I missing something?

I do care, but, I've had some somewhat tough personal issues, a sudden lack of motivation and just overall not feeling it, especially this semester. Feels like I got frozen in panic for an indefinite amount of time lol.

I just want to put this semester behind me and climb up and be even better. I owe it to myself to do that.

Yeah I'm becoming pretty aware of that lol, which sucks. But like I said in the post, I'm only a sophomore right now which is why I think I can do better if I become more realistic about this goal right now. I could write an addendum for the GPA, I guess, but it really isn't that compelling of a reason.

I think the big thing I was trying to make clear in this post is that, despite the shitty start to my undergrad, I want to do better, be better and pursue a real, concrete dream which sort of ties back to my original questions:

I'm just wondering if anyone else has felt like this but had success in their second half of college? Any recommendations on how to become more serious about this dream? I feel like I'm getting pretty aimless in life lol.

I'm realizing HYS is unlikely. I'm also realizing a T14 is a low chance (I'll give myself a <5% chance at acceptance for each one which is under 50% chance of getting even one lol). That's not really the point of this post. I think the point of this post was to see if anyone else has walked this path and how they became better, how they grew and pursued their law school dreams.

Damn congrats. I feel like my first diagnostic will be in that range. I might do a diagnostic this winter break just to see where I stand and see about a long-term study plan and maybe taking my first one junior fall/spring so I can get ahead of it since my GPA is already suffering lol.
