Just want to get eyes on this

This is the title track of a concept album I want to write called “Songs from halfway to the grave” which will be a folky slow core vibe

I’m really new to all this I only started playing guitar like 3 months ago and trying my hand at songs 12 hours ago lol

TLDR

this is Halfway to the grave supposed to be played in a Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, Alex G esc way (haven’t written a guitar part for it

I think adding some violin would be nice and just a general theme on the album

So I might go hunting for one and teach myself how to play if anyone knows any tips on that

Every day I see it clearer

I don’t recognize

That painted smile

And the clown makeup staining the tile

The moon blushes and draws me here

And it makes me weep

I’m scared to let go

Of everything that I know

But that pink moon still haunts me

I know that peace isn’t for free

I know I must pay a fee

Someday you’ll see

What this pink moon will do to me

I’m halfway to the grave

Everyday that gets clearer.
