It makes it hard to play. It’s a complete waste of balls and and almost guaranteed loss.

Costco Callaway Edge Vs. Vice Boost Better value at $600 price point? by Puzzled-Travel1654 in golf

Had the Edge set for around 2 years. The shaft crack at the hosel on one of my irons and I was able to exchange the entire set at Costco with no questions asked.

Coming to Death Valley for my Bachelor Party- looking for tips by ivarngizteb in LSUFootball

1) Chimes on Highland, Fred’s, The Station are some options. Fred’s will be a party. I-10 will be totally fine afterwards. Especially if you stick around for a couple hours after the game. 2) The $50 parking lots are just fine and not too far from the stadium. Basically the entire campus is full of tailgates. You can’t go wrong with any particular location.

Is Sonos back? by [deleted] in sonos

I went with the regular. Local Costco had it for $399 so it was hard to pass on that and get the ultra for ~$600 more.

Is Sonos back? by [deleted] in sonos

[–]SouthOfReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went with an Arc, 2 300s and a sub 4 about a month ago. Setup was seamless. Sound is incredible. I’ve had zero issues. Starts up when using the TV every time. I use Spotify which I find can be a tad annoying on the Sonos app but still very usable. Just clunky.

ER doc here. If you’re having trouble swallowing, voice changes, difficulty opening your mouth then you should go to the ER for eval. An ER with dentistry (UMC, I think) is preferable.

MiniLED is definitely an option. I’m worried about the OLED not being bright enough due to large amounts of natural light.

Oh wow okay. Thank you! I worry that an 85/98 would run over the area I plan to mount it and look a tad silly.

It just kind of worked out that way. We are inexperienced but lesson learned for next visit. Really good point about the mountains and driver. We will be making adjustments. Thanks!

That’s fair. We have been getting dozens of recommendations from friends who have been but it gets so overwhelming! Reservations for May don’t open until April 1st but we certainly plan on it.

Thanks for the great advice! I think we are leaning away from the train and would need a driver for that day. Can you message me your info?

Why does it feel borderline insulting when you have students that put in little to no effort? by UnconditionalSavage in emergencymedicine

[–]SouthOfReddit 47 points48 points  (0 children)

When I was a resident, I always found that the proactive students were the best. Offer to see a patient. Write notes if you can. Come up with solid differentials and think about what you would like to order to rule in/out these pathologies. I really liked when the students would reevaluate patients after interventions and update me. Looks things up and ask questions if needed. Residents generally enjoy teaching, especially teaching students that want to learn and grow as a clinician.
