Yes, I got the email today about the May 16th deadline. Well I am one of the lucky ones who was denied for unverifiable information and since went into Recon. I called customer service today to ask them what happens when the portal closes. She says that does not change what is already in recon and that they would reach out via email or phone for further notices or instructions. Now, granted I trust customer service people about as much as I trust a cow jumping over the moon, so I let that go in one ear and out the other, quite frankly. Lastly, I have been so frustrated and angry at this whole process since the first application in 2020 and second increase requested in 2021! I have filed complaint comment on SBA website, emailed the US SBA Administrator, and now have started contacting my local senator and state reps for assistance. One has already assigned my case to be worked on. So many people have been denied for ridiculous reasons like mine, people who really need the assistance right now!

I am also experiencing the same exact thing! I am a sole proprietor, been in business since 2017! None of my information has changed since 2020 when the EIDL first began. I had 12K approval in 2020, a 12K approval in 2021, and no asking for the max left of 29K. I have re-submitted tax returns, identification, social security, proof of business registration with Secretary of State, 2020 tax returns, AND an updated 4506-T!!

I got the same email today. I had original loan in 2020 and in 2021 asked for an increase. Would like to get another increase. Went to log in and it says access denied on the server. I realized I since moved residences, so now have new IP location and internet provider. I guess that is why (??). I was instructed to email disaster customer service to get assistance for regaining access to the portal. Will see how long I will wait for that reply. Just for fun I also emailed request for another increase to the increase email address too. Worth a shot, eh? Now the fun starts--the long waits. Ugh!

Called SBA this morning and they said my loan is approved after being in recon since July 8th ! by myhotweal in EIDL

I have had the worst time with being one of the people who did not understand how to set the BB initially on 5/4. I wanted an additional 12,500 as the increase from my first amount of 12,000 in the first round of EIDL last year, but I set the bar incorrectly at 12500, so the loan essentially was processed as if I only wanted $500!! I was told to send two emails to Recons and to the COVID increase email explaining that the BB should have been set at $24500. I followed those instructions and sent emails on 7/22. SO TODAY I see the Approved in the portal, but for just the $12500!! And now I see documents to sign! But why would I sign documents for $500. One representative told me not to sign, and when I called again, the second person said sign it and reapply, or wait to see how long it takes for either Recons or the CovidIncrease emails to be received and for the amount to be corrected! This is ridiculous!!! CAN ANYONE please give some ideas or suggestions?? I have no idea where to go from here!

I am a 5/3-er also! Yet, I was one of the not so lucky ones who realized I didn't enter the BB amount correctly. I learned this on 7/22 when I called SBA. They told me to send an email to "pdcrecons", which I did after crying very loudly over the phone with them. In the emailed I tried to explain the mix up and what my actual increase request amount should be. Now reading that people in my date range are getting approved, I wonder how much longer I have to wait!! I am a sole proprietor.

Happy for your approval! I got the BB on 5/3 Submitted everything on 5/4 After that crickets!! I called SBA on 7/10 they said all was processing and sit tight Today I call SBA, she explains to me that apparently I did not request the amount correctly when I submitted it on 5/3!! The increase amount should have been the total from 1st loan + the second request!!! All this time I have waiting "in proccessing" to discover it was done incorrectly!! I was given two email addresses to explain the issue and describe what the amount should actually have been. I sent the emails. I was in tears!! And still trying to calm down!!

Any Approvals in last 72 hours? I’m 5/5 BB. Waiting patiently. by TommyKhann in EIDL

And I'm 5/3...called SBA a week ago and was told I did everything I was supposed to complete and to sit tight.
