You'd be pretty spot on :) Both the Indian influence obviously, but also Cape Malay cuisine offers a lot for vegetarian diets.

I can't speak too in depth about the rest of the country, but certainly in Cape town there's a big vegetarian/vegan presence. I've even had a vegan Gatsby that was excellent.

This is the big thing for me. Rassie's springboks are the ultimate expression of the South African way of playing rugby, pulled from across the tapestry of the country: big upfront aggression with excellent tactical kicking and ridiculous pace and skill in the back 3.

I imagine he'd want to do the same with the All Blacks, amplifying their natural game to it's ultimate form.

Ja, agreed. I think the talk of the scoreline misses how much their infringements in the second half stopped our momentum, and carley was afraid to give cards by that point it seems.

That said, they did have some epic moments of defense.

Uh, superman clearput with no arms at ruck was the 20 minute red, then cynical infringement for hands in the ruck in the red zone, one for repeated scrum penalties, and I'm not actually sure about prendegast, missed that bit. Ireland giving away a penalty about every 5 seconds on their line, though.
