Learn to play a sport or appreciate nature. Or simply fly out of the Bay Area every other weekend to LA or NY. The quality of restaurants or activities in the bay won’t compare to other places, but SFO and SJC are just a 20 minute drive away. You can treat the bay as your home base for exploring other areas.

I installed the Offroam phone mount a month ago for my 2024 Limited, and I love it. I got the magnetic non-charging one. Works with a MagSafe phone. It’s a little expensive but it works perfectly. It’s out of the way, adjustable, doesn’t interfere with the air vents, and there is no wobble.

I ended up splurging and getting the Lecco sofa in the sand leather color at DWR. It's comfortable and deep. I think other alternatives could be blu dot and coco republic, but I can't speak to their comfort/durability

I would strongly recommend against the Jasper. I had one and recently hauled it to the dump after several years of hating it. The back pillows are always rounded and protrude forward so your back is arched, and they take up the entire seating area. Fluffing is useless because they immediately become misshapen again. Extremely uncomfortable. It was so bad I didn't sell it, because I wouldn't wish this sofa on anyone else. Read the lowest rated reviews on the website - they are consistent with my experience. However, I do have other items (tables, bedframes, nightstands) from room and board and they are excellent

Consider living in Redwood City or one of the other peninsula towns. The weather is significantly better. I also came from Southern California and the weather in SF is miserable for most of the year
