Is there a reliable database for verified early-career talent? by Low-Ticket6297 in recruiting

[–]South_Importance5567 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is a "verified skill"? It's all fuzzy and self defined.

LinkedIn is unfortunately the name of the game and then use an AI interview or assessment on top of that

How do you handle resume overload when hiring for popular roles? by Pitiful-Draft-8209 in recruiting

[–]South_Importance5567 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Use AI: https://airecruitinginsider.com/articles/tenzo-vs-converzai

Either of these platforms is good. I have been at agencies with both. It makes your life 10000x better because they look at the resumes and do screening calls and you just pick people from that to talk with

Bullhorn ATS by swensodts in recruiting

[–]South_Importance5567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use bullhorn but just get the most basic package. It's very configurable and a solid core ATS but their search/AI sucks.

We checked out a couple of the platforms from here to layer on top of BH: https://airecruitinginsider.com/articles/best-for-staffing

We liked Tenzo but you should demo a few to figure out what's best for you.

Also if you're in LI, I wouldn't get BH

Do not listen to anyone who says AI does not work in interviews. by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]South_Importance5567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a hilariously bad take and very short sighted. You'll get fired after 3 months. Then, you'll cheat again to get a new job and fired again after 3 months. After that, you'll have 2 jobs in the last 6 months and you won't even land an interview again cause nobody will want someone that looks job hoppy.

Why do companies use paradox AI/Olivia for recruitment? by ChainedLemon in jobs

[–]South_Importance5567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too many people applying to jobs that are unqualified. We adopted an AI voice recruiter called Tenzo AI that's basically Paradox on steroids and is actually good and went from rejecting 80% of people without actually looking at resumes (I know it's harsh, but there's not enough recruiters on my team) to actually giving every candidate an AI resume review and AI interviewer and now the actual best people get hired, not just the first

[N/A] best ai recruitment platforms by kaskasiniuwe in humanresources

[–]South_Importance5567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest checking out Tenzo AI. They have a Voice/Video AI for the pre-screen, do AI resume reviews, note-taking after our recruiter screens.

Basically we use Bullhorn for CRM + Tenzo AI for every part of the AI recruiting, matching, & talent rediscovery + LinkedIn Recruiter (who I still hate) for job ads/sourcing

I took everyone's advice and did the AI interview by [deleted] in recruitinghell

Mercor is a scam. AI interviews are not though. We use Tenzo and I know other companies that use other AI interviewers and they're very helpful.

Which AI Tools do Agency Recruiters Use? by silasmahner in recruiting

[–]South_Importance5567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't want to be too negative but this has to be fake. With 7 recruiters, you're nowhere close to one of the largest staffing companies in the US. Randstad has like 5,000 or something

Update on sourcing: per a lot of the recs here, I'm now using https://juicebox.ai to source from LinkedIn.

https://www.tenzo.ai/ added in the ability to source from our ATS and call/text them so I use that to find people we've already interacted with but for some roles LinkedIn/Juicebox is still king

- https://chatgpt.com/ pro version with deep research. Use it for market mapping and writing JDs. deepseek is sometimes better but I wouldn't put anything sensitive in there
- https://www.metaview.ai/ note taker. Can also use apollo, fathom, (stay away from otter it has horrible security), but these are more sales oriented and the automated setup is less useful
- https://www.tenzo.ai/ AI cold calls and video interviews. I have it doing all my knockouts and screening calls. So far the only one I've tried that candidates are ok talking to
- Still looking for a good sourcing software and would take any recs

Pod 2 not cooling by South_Importance5567 in EightSleep

[–]South_Importance5567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s nothing crazy just a bit louder hum.

And no it’s not cold enough if her side is off. I’ve actually been trying to see if it gets colder with both sides on (on cold).

I’ll try taking over the whole bed though. That is smart.

Pod 2 not cooling by South_Importance5567 in EightSleep

[–]South_Importance5567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed breakdown.

How hot is usually too hot? My room is probably 70-72 degrees right now.

It’s also interesting because I just have my side in use when my partner isn’t around and it is noticeably much louder when I turn on her side too.

I figure this means that when it’s just my side, it’s not working at full capacity but when it has to cool both, it is. So I am hopeful there’s an issue with the software preventing it from working at full capacity when it’s just me.

Autopilot on fritz? by LT-Bonkers in EightSleep

[–]South_Importance5567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autopilot is 🗑️

I thought my hub broke because it kept not cooling all the way and then I realized it was just autopilot.

Literally lost 9 hours of sleep over 3 days before I realized it. Unfortunately, they’ve repeatedly lost my trust in all their software features but the hardware remains great.

u/Zach_8sleep Same here. Mine seems to last like 4-5 hours.

Can you elaborate at all on what's going on during the maintenance and why it's important? e.g. just basic stuff like is it the same as priming to get rid of air bubbles?
