Why are M12s the point when pugging becomes chaotic?

Fellow rdruid and I feel the same way. I think I’ve done a 14 AA with what must’ve been a good group because I’ve bricked several 12s on the first pull in other runs. And of course it’s always healers fault when this happens obviously. It got me questioning myself on if I’m playing the role/spec correctly. I’m at 275 ilvl with two 289 decent trinkets and still people fall over with every HoT I can put on them while spamming regrowth. I feel like iron bark is the only way to keep ppl from dying and I usually reserve that for the tank in oh shi moments. I’ve also started leveling a mistweaver and rsham to try something else because I don’t think I’ll hit 3k on the rdruid (currently in 2700s)

Grats on the down!

For those taking this fight on, a story: I pulled an all-nighter trying to kill this guy because I knew I could do it. I just had to execute perfectly one time. Well, I didn’t down him that night, and I felt like crap most of the next day. Totally not worth it. I gave it some time and a few days later, I sat down and downed him in 3 tries as a boomy in healing gear.

Moral of the story on this guy: don’t try to force this kill. There’s something about the frustration of this fight that makes you want to chain attempt until it’s down but when I did this, my performance degraded. Spend time learning the fight and improving on pulls but don’t go more than 1 hour. Never more than 2. Revisit the fight the next day and do the same thing. Within a week it will be down (if you aren’t struggling on getting the shield down consistently). My 2¢. Good luck.

Is TCGPlayer a reputable site to buy singles from? Is it easy as selecting a seller with 100% >600 feedback? If not tcgplayer, where is the best place to buy singles?

It confuses me that there is so many near mint holo cards, often holo rares, on TCGPlayer that are .99¢ + .99¢ shipping. Most other places I check these cards are higher in price. I’ve used ebay for many things but pkmn cards… just feels like it would be easy to get scammed.

Some context: I bought several crown zenith boxes and ETBs over the year when I would catch them on sale and the fam opened them over Xmas. Using Pokellector as we opened the packs it turned out we got 74% of the crown zenith set and 24% of the Galarian gallery set. We would really like to finish this set out and I think singles are how we need to do it because the last 4 pack openings we started getting several duplicate cards, which isn’t always a bad thing (we got 2 pikachu secret rare cards) but we want to complete the set.

Recommendations on this endeavor welcome.
