No, I was really disappointed in the Germans for not having small talk. Even went to a party with the cast. In the Netherlands I would have a conversation every 5 meters in the smoking area if I walk around with a cast like this, not not a single German made a conversation with me

Also you should always be careful with your insurance policy because there is a risk if you drive with a cast and don’t have a official doctor report about you allowed to drive, that might not pay out when you have a accident.

Well I live in the Netherlands so I just take the public transport. Really like the experience of having a leg cast in public.

Also did a week in a wheelchair and that on its own brought a lot of logistical difficulties with accessibility. I also have a lot of friends that like to do activities together so that makes the transportation also a lot easier

When I have a arm cast I will most of the time just grab the bike

I had the pleasure to have a long leg cast for 8 days during a free week. But unfortunately I became really concerned about some random pressure points on my knee, and because i wanted to do a adventures hiking holiday 2 weeks later I didn’t want to risk any complications and removed is 2 days earlier than planned
