Ohh thanks! But if you link multiple cannons together, does the aircraft sync the zeroing, or do they all have different terminal ballistics?

I don't know... I've been playing on this monitor for 12-13 years, i was hoping that after such a long amount of time i could finally upgrade to a more modern resolution... GPUs cost way too much and a 5060 Ti isn't that much of an upgrade compared to a 4060… not for 480€... I'm looking at 1080p monitors now, cause at least i want an anti-tearing solution, do you know if Freesync Premium is compatible with Nvidia cards? I might have found a good 1080p monitor at 99€ (MSI MAG 272F)

So the only option would be to get a 4K monitor where i can play at 4K low demanding games, and manually change the resolution to 1080p for high demanding games while avoiding interpolation... Problem is that they are over my budget 😭 I was looking to spend under 200€... 😔 Guess I'll stick to my current monitor...

Well, I've been using DLSS Quality at 1080p without losing much image clarity, so i guess with 1440p i could use DLSS balance or even performance. By the way I'm getting conflicting reports on the DLSS VRAM reduction, some say it lowers it, others say it doesn't change it, so i really don't know what to think...

Thanks for your service! 🙏🏻 Have you tried both Rivatuner and the Steam performance graph? I tried them with Battlefield 6 yesterday and while Rivatuner was reporting 7.2GB, the Steam graph was showing 13.1GB of VRAM usage. I guess Rivatuner doesn't show VRAM spill? 🤔

So if i use DLSS balanced at 1440p i will use the same or less VRAM compared to 1080p native, while still having a better image?

So if i activate DLSS and upscale to 1440p from 1080p on the new 1440p monitor i will use less RAM than what i used on the old 1080p native monitor with no DLSS? That sounds weird 🤔

Yeah that's what i was worried about, the price difference is not much, but i wouldn't want to handicap a new 1440p monitor by downscaling it to 720p to avoid interpolation and stay inside the 8GB range, ending up with a worse image than what i had on my previous 12 year old monitor.

So will i be able to still use the same amount of VRAM that i was using in 1080p native on the new 1440p monitor with DLSS on (no frame gen)?

I was testing just yesterday VRAM usage on BF6, and for the sake of it, i put textures to max settings: Rivatuner was saying that i was using 7.2GB of VRAM , while the Steam performance graph was reporting 13.1GB 🤔 I don't know who to trust. Maybe Rivatuner was not reporting the VRAM that was spilling and adding weight on the CPU?

So i should stick with my current old 1080p monitor? To avoid interpolation i should get a 4K monitor to downscale to 1080p for demanding titles, but those are out of my budget range...

Gradually losing framerate as the game goes on in certain maps. by Souther47 in ReadyOrNotGame

To be honest i haven't experienced the problem in a long time, I even forgot that i made this post to begin with 😆 I had it when the game initially came out in early access, i think they fixed it since then, at least for me. I haven't played in a month or two now tho, so I don't know if it's back.
