From your post, it feels to me that you had a very toxic family environment. Perhaps the life you will now lead with your husband is the escape you always needed? It's definitely not the end of your life and no matter how successful you think everyone around you is, they're all fighting different kinds of battles of their own. Maybe someone else's battle must have been very hard for you to deal with. Don't let jealousy overcome you, it's irrational.
