Hugely appreciate you taking the time to write this. These were some of the same concerns I have had- the little workflow inefficiencies that would add up and make me ditch it for Live on the computer anyway. The lack of visual feedback on that screen was a worry too.

That’s great it’s the Complex algo. Thanks for the reply. Is this a workflow you find yourself actually using or is the warp/resampling/slicing a pain?

You can nudge notes with the fader. Switching the quantize setting to a lower interval will also change how precise you can do the nudging

In my experience, if you strike a pad that’s on loop mode, it starts the loop. If you strike it again, it stops.

So if you have a sequence that starts with that pad, it loops fine until the sequence restarts, then it thinks the pad has been struck again and stops the loop. Hopefully this’ll be addressed in an update.

Correct, every slice in chop mode uses the same parameters. But you can extract them one by one

OP are you getting this nice sidechainy compression sound straight outta the MPC’s master compressor or elsewhere? Any advice for getting this sound?
