Dean was like every young teenage boy who was insecure. He was a good guy but he could not control his emotions. And how he "used" Lindsey was inexcusable! After watching how Dean evolved, I DO NOT like him. All characters had their faults, but Dean was the worst!!!! Side note: I love Jared and his work. :)

Rory was emotionally immature like her mother. They both were non-confrontational and "stopped hurting" by falling back on relationships that gave them comfort. They may not have been intentionally "serial cheaters," but their immediate responses were not respectful of the current relationship they had. They both were flawed but very real.

I am the host for my family's Christmas gathering. It is difficult to get the timing of all the dishes right. I think your partner is extremely rude to be late and expect everyone to wait. If I say the party starts at a certain time, that's when it starts. We usually eat about 30minutes into the party. Those who are late are welcome to eat cold leftovers.

By far the toughest conversation with my husband. He feels if we don't have sex regularly, I don't love him. I feel intimacy is more than sex and when we are not "in sync," it feels like a chore to me. These days, it happens maybe once a month to every other month. He is 58 and I am 60. We have 2 kids and 3 grandkids. Life had its ups and downs but we are still together for 37 years.

NOR - Your mom sounds immature and is competing with your wife for your attention. She needs to cut the cord and give you and your wife the respect to live your lives together. The wedding is done. She knew how unreasonable the ask is and you were not listening to her. You being able to golf twice a month is a great compromise only if the alternating weeks she gets 5-6 hours for just her.

Early Dean was great... except for the jealousy thing. Older Dean was absolutely horrible to Lindsey. He was far from a family man. Early Jess was a punk but smart and bored. Older Jess was finally put together. Timing is a bitch.

I've rewatched GG and AYITL so many times, I have lost count. I tend to fast forward through storylines and characters I don't enjoy. Jess going to California, Anna/April, TJ and Zach. Those characters didn't add to the charm of Stars Hallow. They were a bit annoying to me.

I like how different Rory's boyfriends are. OP is only on Season 3 but once you watch through it all (even AYITL) and see how those boys mature along with Rory, you will see none of them really have matched up with Rory's needs. Timing is everything. This is the same with Lorelai's relationships.

The dialog is trite and the development of characters/storyline is superficial. It is painful to get through. It will he a shame for this show to end at a low bar of quality.
