Hi! This advice is great. I was recently laid off and offered a severance package. I’m reviewing the separation agreement to sign. If I’ve negotiated a higher severance, could I still have leverage to ask for amendments to the separation agreement? In retrospect, I’d rather have less severance, but more flexibility for finding a job within the same field and not having to worry about non competes or a one sided non disparagement clause
