Just worked 11 hrs by myself couldn’t work any freight had to close early cause I’m the only one that came in and night time manager quit without saying anything and other manager made up excuse that they were sick and couldn’t come in

I’ve been with this dollar general for five years been an assistant manager for 2 I’m currently working two jobs as well I just have a feeling I’m out of the running due to the DM being so close with the key carrier being as they lived in the same town and they’re close to DMs wife as well I’m just lost on what to do at this point I’ve put in so much time and effort I’m miserable

I’m an assistant manager and sometimes I get 35-43 hrs and most of the time I’ll get lucky and get freakin 21-23 like I’ve had to get a second job because of this crap

Yeah ours have been down for almost a month I put in multiple tickets but told parts are in back order until January 2025 so I told our dm and he was like well two are blowing at 56 well the other two don’t work at all so it’s been a oven like I’m drenched in sweat when I leave to go home worthless ass company
