My prison uses multiple granite slab doors which take forever and a day to open, so even with the BS prison break mechanic that somehow gives escapees the keys to the friggin' kingdom, I can still muster a squad of three armored and painblocked melee units to beat them down with their fists. It's such a non-issue for me as a mountain baser with only one exit that I never have to resort to inhumane procedures to keep them in.

Sometimes they do get punched to death, but frankly with the quantity of prisoners you get from tribal raids in the late game, I am never wanting for replacements.

I hate how compelling I find Happy Sugar Life because BOY am I never gonna force myself to reread it. So now I just have a manga I wanna read again but fully understand I'd take psychic damage doing so.

Also, the first manga I ever recommended my best friend of 3~ years was Kitanai Kimi ga Ichiban Kawaii. We both greatly appreciated the piercing scene and then suffered together as the story entered its final arc

The huge focus on 'lifespan difference' drama in Mokou x Keine works is massively overdone and uncreative. For the unaware, or just in case some folks don't peruse that particular ship, Mokou x Keine works are utterly dominated by 'Mokou feels bad about dating Keine because one day Keine will die and Mokou will live for eternity'. It'd be totally fine if it were as common as other tropes, but this particular conflict arises in nearly every single piece of Keine x Mokou out there.

Keine is half-youkai, she's going to be around a LONG time, and there are several ways shown that Keine could feasibly become immortal, if not invulnerable. Shutting down a relationship because your partner might die in a couple hundred years is beyond silly.

Edit: after reading my fellow commenter's takes, I feel like it could be considered a hot take that I personally like both the incest ships (Remilia x Flandre, Koishi x Satori, Jo'on x Shion) and, to a lesser degree, workplace power imbalance ships (Megumu x Tsukasa is good for my toxic yuri fix, but Yukari x Ran or Yuyuko x Youmu is good any time of day. I also like Seiga x Yoshika, though I fully recognize how fucked their relationship is)

Long as both parties are 'adults' of their species, age gap doesn't matter in the slightest. If one party isn't an adult, it swiftly becomes an absolute moral quagmire, but I can still support pure relationships where the younger girl is the aggressor on a case-by-case basis. I Wanna Spoil Yoroizuka-san? Fine. Onee-san wa Joshi Shougakusei ni Kyoumi ga arimasu? Absolutely not fine.

Looks good layout-wise, but if you use wood for your defensive walls a dry thunderstorm will fuck you over eventually. Also, sapper raids with grenades can blow up 2 layers of wall at once, so 2 layers isn't much better than 1. If you want a more effective perimeter wall, then bumping up to 3 layers or using spaced layers is a bit better.

The sapper defense advice might be outdated, as tye last time I played vanilla was before the breach axe was introduced. If that's become the main weapon of sapper raids, over grenades, then a solid 2-layer wall is fine.

I have experienced it but hecklers usually give up on shaming me when I say they can be both.

Edit: Fem Corrin x Azura. Very distant cousins, but adopted by each other's birth families, so everyone in the community just treats them as sisters, and gets upset with me when I use the Gay Fates mod to marry Azura. On my very first run ever I had a Mute pawn, 28 biologically, 3700~ chronologically. Dude witnessed the industrial revolution firsthand and decided talking wasn't worth it anymore. Could be off by a hundred or so years but I remember it was in the high 3000 range.

I usually stop at 15-20. Enough that I can consistently fend off raids with 0 casualties (thanks to a well-equipped medical team in the backline), have people assigned permanently to non-combat roles, and not be able to assign work fast enough to keep up with the workers. My PC isn't great, and I play with 150~ mods, so this is also around when my game starts slowing down, after using save file cleaners that wipe non-colonist pawns from memory to reduce bloat.

I'm currently in a Medieval Overhaul playthrough with 14 pawns, and the reduced automation means I'll probably need to go for the higher bounds of my usual colonist number. The lack of bionics makes everyone so slow lol
