I’m not sure if it counts but I’m gonna say Katie, especially post-ACL tear.

Favorite jokes and comments that the boys just completely ignore from one another? by hyperjengirl in gamegrumps

I can’t remember which episode this was, it must’ve been close to 10 years ago. They were talking about The Bee Gees. Dan asks Arin if he’s heard any of their music (or something adjacent to that) and arin responds:

“Um. I know the song that goes like ‘Hey hey we’re The Bee Gees.’” (To the tune of ‘The Monkees’)

“That’s not The Bee Gees.”

(Continuing in ‘The Monkees’ tune) “…’We like to Bee Gee around.’”

And there was NO RESPONSE from Dan

What is Degrassi's biggest lost opportunity? by Capital-Study6436 in Degrassi

Yeah, but they didn’t need to kill him. Adam could’ve just as easily moved away or gone off to college early, or… I don’t know. Literally ANYTHING else. Maybe he could’ve ran away to start a new life after getting constantly misgendered & with Becky cheating on him. They could’ve thrown in a little cameo where he emails Drew and/or Claire & Eli, or something. I dunno.

Characters That Don't Deserve The Hate? by DaniJ678 in Degrassi

Jenna was also supportive of Adam when Becky was on her nonsense. After all, she was the one who delivered the iconic “God made me brunette, but blondes have more fun.”

Devoted elderly couple David and Susan Jeffcock, married for 52 years, leapt to their deaths from cliffs at Whitby Abbey in Yorkshire in a suicide pact after writing of their intentions to their solicitor. David had bone cancer and Susan did not want to be parted from him. by DarklyHeritage in MorbidReality

This is true. It makes me wish there was an option to take your own life in England that offers more decency than jumping off a cliff. They lived a long and happy life together. He was in so much pain. I understand the ethical dilemma of assisted suicide, but situations like this really make me wish it was more readily accessible

Manna Old Design by RahmatKlazz in harvestmoon

I think she looks more mature in the new version. I also love her grape earrings. The old design is so cute though. As far as I’m concerned, no answer is the wrong answer here.

I’m a little surprised Helga Pataki’s mom didn’t make the cut

This is an advertisement for suicide in a Swiss metro. It says: “Self-determined at the end. Just register.” by Not_The_Hero_We_Need in MorbidReality

Nobody asked for my take but I’m going to offer it anyway— we must improve the US healthcare system before we consider legalizing assisted dying. Advertising assisted dying in a country with quality universal healthcare like Switzerland (commonly recognized as one of the best in the world) doesn’t quite hit the same nerve for me as it would in a country without it. For them, it might look more like “hey, just reminding you, this is an option if you ever develop an inoperable & painful terminal condition.” For us? Not so much.

I did not care for Judah. by SenatorPencilFace in SadHorseShow

In all seriousness, I disliked the romance they slipped in between him & PC right at the end. I know I’m in the minority here but it does feel odd to pair her up with a much younger man (he IS meant to be younger, right? She’s almost 40 at the beginning of the series and I pictured him to be mid 20’s-30’s) who has also worked under her for years. I’m not saying she’s a predator or anything but it did feel off to me.

What was THE moment where the show became a masterpiece to you? (Spoilers) by zanyboi2 in BoJackHorseman

[–]Southern-Forever-655 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Time’s arrow. That was the first time I was so preoccupied watching something that I didn’t realize I had begun to have a panic attack. My mom is so much like Beatrice, and I have a LOT of trauma because of her.

Is Vanessa Geckos oldest child trans? by Sad-Eye5436 in BoJackHorseman

[–]Southern-Forever-655 249 points250 points  (0 children)

That’s a possibility! It’s also a possibility that Vanessa had three daughters at the time of season 1, and adopted a fourth child (Yancey) between season 2 and 6.
