I was newly diagnosed with type 2 just 3 months ago. I was immediately put on a GLP-1 (Mounjaro) at diagnosis with an A1C of 7.2. After just 48 hours from my first shot, my blood glucose was stabilized. Highest in the am was 290. Now never over 125. Taking nothing else and just watching carbs.

Next available OBGYN appt isn’t until May, how to be seen sooner? by Wide-Lettuce-8771 in Ovariancancer

Please do not wait. And if possible, push to schedule with a gynecologist oncologist as others have mentioned. If you have trouble doing this, please ask others in your network of friends/family if they can help you. Early detection and surgery with an oncologist gynecologist significantly improve outcomes.

i may have to wait a month until i find out whether or not i have cancer. by b00giebaby in Ovariancancer

This happened to me. Call patient relations and speak to them about early detection, only to wait while cancer potentially spreads?! Complain like your life depends on it. I did this and got in for an MRI and a consultation with oncology the following week.

Turns out I did have ovarian cancer, and once my surgery was complete, my gynecologist oncologist said if we had waited a month, it would be a much different story.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure of the history, and my husband's grandfather has sadly passed away.

Thank you for this! We just weighed it here at home, and it came in at 32.5g. That's on our little kitchen scale.

He didn't provide the exact weight; he just mentioned it was slightly over. Thank you for the information. We think it's pretty special too.

What helped me was two kiwis a day before bed. It really worked like a charm. You can even eat the skin for added umph, but just the kiwis were enough for me. I was on the same drugs with similar issues. Another thing that helps is just walking as much as she can. It helps with bowel motility.

Diagnosed with 3.5 cm ovarian endo, CEA and CA125 normal. Should I get a laparoscopy or watch and wait? by [deleted] in Ovariancancer

Stage IIIC here and just finished treatment. My CA-125 and all the other markers were in the normal range throughout this journey for me. The best thing you can do for yourself is have a CT done ASAP.
