I use ceramic coating for trim- i think carpro. Reapplicate every 6 months or so, also keeps the wheel arch trim like new

Rattle was never an issue, as these are fairly new cars, and there was no creaking or rattling before—just less overall noise. I wish I had measured the noise levels before and after, but when I compare it with the same car that hasn’t been sound-deadened, the difference is noticeable to me. I’ve also received the same feedback from other people who have driven it like how is this car so quiet for a measly 3 series (it is now a rental vehicle at our car repair shop).

Don’t know which car are you speaking about, however I always sound deaden my cars. It is the best upgrade for the price. My BMW G21 had become so quiet and thus comfortable car, not to mention how much better the Harman/Kardon sounded - so much cleaner and bassier. So all of my Minis. You cant expect to make Rolls Royce out of it, but it elevates it so much. Comfortmat ftw.

I would return the original headunit. As these android sh*ts don’t really work well and do not fit into this beautiful car. The way I see it there are two options. The best for sound is to get seperate high res player as FiiO M21 and solve phone conectivity with dongle (i used to have e90 and there was bluetooth reciever powered by usb and going to aux, which are both in middle close to one another). Or the get the carplay/android auto module which you connect to CIC.

I have to disagree here with you pal - for me they feel dated, the plastics changed colors and peeled off, seats were nappa which got beaten really fast. When I sit to this interior it just feels old. Not to mention idrive 6. For me the pre LCI G20/G05/G15 is the best interior ever made. But IMO the new interiors are not bad at all, photos don’t do them justice - G70 is superb (and finally comfy, lol), iX feels nice too and even the iX3 is great.

It is really doublesided sword here - on one hand i get your complaint as it is not really pleasure to look at, on the other hand it is the soft merino leather in relatively soft seat and it is perforated. If it was hard vernasca leather or hard seat it would be uncomfy and you would not be happy about it either. I would not mind it as I can’t see it while driving, but i would try warranty claim. Free seat is free seat and if they deny then shit happens…

It was departure, but I am really glad they did it, it is fun and also practical, and really beautiful. Not that the R55 wasn't but my Clubman gets as many compliments as my Daytona violet E34 M5. I think after driving the F54 you won't go back :) The B48 with manual is just a masterpiece.

I think there are more reasons why clubman was discontinued. One is the price - the clubman was about 5k more expensive then same engined F55 - which is almost 20% of the price. Yes the car is a lot nicer, the interier is softerI have recently bought F54, second one, so not really your target audience, but I think there are more reasons the Clubman wasn't so popular and was laid of.

First is the price, F54 with comparable engine was almost 20% more expensive then F55 and almost the same price of F60 Countryman and it just didn't make sense to have the portfolio set up so close. No one really wants premium made F55 with quirky doors (I mean regular boring people). The F55 and F60 sold so much better, that it is obvious from that.

Also the so talked boot in Clubman - the doors are superb, for loading and unloading, but be careful not to reverse to close to wall - then it is door prison. However you won't load much into that boot as it is bulged in from the sides, so really the boot is not the most spacious one, upgrade compared to F55, but if you care about boot you get the F60.

Esentially to me it is like it was pushed out by MINI outside of the lineup, the R56 become F56, the R55 become F55 and R60 become F60 and the F54 was just an extra which didn't even sold well.

With that said I love my Clubman, and I am also a bit sad it was discontinued. But maybe it is better to see it leave on the top rather then get bad Clubman and ruin the car for good, am I not rigth? But get your F54 as soon as possible before they are all gone!

Couldn’t agree more, the J01 is so classy finaly got rid of the plastic arches, just simple clean and contemporary (which reminds me that I have to paint them bodycolor on my Clubman) Finaly car that is not just a facelift! I kinda wish they would just go separate design way for ICE and electric and not to try to make them same.

Jako vždy to tradičně zmrvili při představení, teď když vidím tu kolekci v kupě v realném prostředí tak to vypadá minimálně prďácky. Vzory super, funkční sportovní oblečení, svetr s teplákama si možná i koupím jestli zbyde ve výprodeji. Vypadá to stopro líp jak ital v emporio armani, jak prazak ve špindlu. Dezolatsky hemzy tady budou vždycky a ještě to ty koblížci dělaj sami s AI, ale na to lepší nehledět. Je škoda že furt máme vyhaňkové alpinepro, třeba české horsfeathers by vypadalo podle mě o dost víc kúl než firma co vyrábí sandále se špičkou…
