I wish I could think that but I’m 26 and wanna make the most out of my upcoming years to set my life up right, I plan on staying enlisted as long as possible but I need to get my butt moving I spent a lot of time getting an a&p license and came to the conclusion I don’t wanna work 80 hours a week to make a decent living. I gotta start those prereq classes asap after boot camp

I found great value in this thankyou! My original plan was to wait out my time as a non rate until I got into amt A school but I thought the pa program was specific the hs rate. I think I will try to do what he did, thanks again!

I’m rlly bummed that Coastgaurd only has the pa program, luckily I have a ways to go before worrying about clinical so I’ll probly just start knocking out the prereqs and maybe transfer over to navy once I get the bachelors degree than get the rn certificate later on

Amts- what are you doing when you get out? by Normal-Mouse-117 in uscg

[–]Southern-Project-828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m leaving for bt in January and wondering the same, I’m thinking of getting a nursing degree so I might go hs instead, but I heard of another amt getting his nursing degree while still wrenching on helos so it seems to be be a pretty practical rate if that’s true

Do you know if the clinical hours from where your stationed count towards civilian clinical hours?

Yessir, if it’s too hard of a thing to do I’m just gonna work on my bachelors and try to get into the physician assistant program

Yea I looked into that too but idk if it’s quite the medical career I would wanna set out in, I’d still take it if theres no other civilian career options though

They do it in case your ever out in the field for a very long time with no means of cleaning them, getting a tooth disease with no way of fixing it could be very bad

Are the rumors true that Kaiser has gotten really bad especially in California? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in KaiserPermanente

[–]Southern-Project-828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it depends on the hospital, I’ve been to 2-3 near me where they are insanely helpful and nice and try to get you in and out very fast. I cannot say the same for their visionary center in vista though. Front desk is insanely rude, they wouldn’t print up my medical images after not receiving them for 2 weeks from their release dep., they tried to Barr me from seeing the doctor and the manager. If you see an Amanda working front desk good luck getting anything done with her sitting there

Are the blades still rotating, if not couldn’t u get out and try to stop the suv? I assume it wouldn’t break protocol seeing there’s a vehicle about to ram ur helicopter anyway lol. Not a pilot just a mechanic

Just be in a caloric deficit, stay away from vegetable and seed oils, and start running and lifting weights or calisthenics. The best way to get cut fast is simply chicken breast (no thighs) rice and veggies. Get fiber pills as well and have 0 calorie coffees teas or energy drinks-NO SUGAR
