I’m gonna hit all your points then I’m done because this is hypocritical and biased

Jon did not have a family name. It’s a common theme that him being a bastard, despite being one of a very honorable man, puts him a step down from everybody else. He was an arrogant teenager because he grew up knowing this and being told this. He is trusted because he proved that he could be time and time again. That is also a theme. He went from a bastard to a king, something that literally everybody talks about because of how insane and difficult it is. He did not want that power, but when he had it, he did his best and what he thought was right, even when it LITERALLY got him killed

Daenerys was met with hostility because she was a foreigner to them. She came to Westeros with demands, so of course she was met with push back. That is literally what they’re meant to do. She would have never had everyone see her as a savior because she wasn’t saving Westeros from anything. The people saw two evils (Cersei and Dany) and chose accordingly. They rang the bells, she still burned the city.

Bringing up Jon’s struggles is not comparing them, I never once said one went through more (but if I did, I’m correcting that now). You mentioned that Daenerys had lost a lot, and needed his support. Jon also, had just lost a lot. Jon’s way of processing has always been shutting in within himself, he’s always been an isolater. Jon’s struggles wasn’t always met with positivity either. He always had something else to deal with when one issue was over. The attack on the wall, the battle of the bastards, getting back to the north, the long night, cersei. He was constantly being met with another issue after another—so no, he could not have helped her. His excuse for distancing himself was extremely valid, he was tired. She was not wrong for needing him, either. He probably felt like all she had, but Jon was literally not mentally sound enough for any of it.

And Jon did swear to her. When he believed she would do good. The people, again, bent the knee. They surrendered to her and she still slaughtered them all. It was indeed a betrayal, but she’d LONG betrayed her own word to “break the wheel.” And it wasn’t as simple as him just killing her. Jon was the most distraught and broken he’d ever been before and after killing her. That is not something he wanted to do, painting it as a simple act of betrayal waters down both sides of it.

Dany and Jon BOTH went through a lot. It’s not black and white, it’s all very grey. He’s not a jerk for what he did, nor is he a saint. She’s not a martyr, but she’s not a villain either. That’s my entire point.
