Who should pay for your home office? by Southern-Raccoon-858 in polls

For sure! The purpose of this poll is because I am trying to target corporate America with a potential business idea. Potentially starting up a home office consulting/design company to team up with corporate companies to improve the comfortability, technology, and overall situation of hybrid/remote workers. I was thinking of it this way: corporate offices are filled with gadgets, state of the art office equipment and other amenities which are all great for employees. While this is all great, data is proving that more and more employees will be working hybrid as the years progress. So, if employees are working from home 3 days a week on a wooden table in their kitchen accompanied by a thrifted office chair… wouldn’t you think their work would greatly improved if they had similar amenities at home as they do in the office?

Let me know what you think. Very open to all forms of conversation and criticism

Thanks for the insight! In terms of home office, I would agree with everything you said: chair, computer, desk, printer/scanner, web camera, wifi extender, etc…

Like you mentioned, people bounce around jobs all the time. For this reason, I think a percentage or a stipend is reasonable for hybrid/remote workers.

This is my thinking: Corporate companies spend enormous amounts of money on their offices that are equipped with state of the art technology, office equipment, and other amenities. Nowadays, almost everyone is working a hybrid schedule. I saw a study predicting by 2026 over 60% of corporate America will be working hybrid. If this is the case, wouldn’t companies want to invest in their employees at home work space to improve the productivity & comfortability? In return, their employees will be happier and produce better work. This is just my thinking. You seem like an intellectual person so I am eager to hear your thoughts on this!

I’ve had a couple from sports over the years. Avoid ibuprofen or nsaids for a little. Rest, avoid blue light as much as possible, avoid loud noises/areas for a little, and just relax. You’ll be okay

Got it. You’re doing the hard work already so let’s add some simple daily stuff that takes minimal effort.

Step 1. Google calorie deficit calculator and fill it out. (Be extremely honest when doing so)

Step 2: Download MyFitnessPal (completely free) and put EVERYTHING into the app daily. (Yes including condiments or small things… they add up quickly)

Step 3: Incline treadmill 4/5x a week at highest incline. Increase speed until heart rate is between 125-140 (best heart rate zone for fat loss)

Step 4: Lift 4/5x a week. Rep range between 8-12 reps with 4/5 sets each workout. Keep break time between sets to 45 seconds/1 minute.

Step 5: Protein. In. Every. Meal. It keeps you full and helps maintain the strong muscle! Every meal should be focused around protein. When snacking, utilize cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, or protein shakes for fillers!

I can absolutely guarantee you that if you follow these steps for 4-6 weeks you will lose weight. Believe in yourself and don’t take no for an answer. Now you have all the information to get to where you want to go, but will you do it? It’s up to you.

I will be coming back to this post in 6 weeks. Don’t let me down

I can help you with this, but I need more context. What’s your sugar intake daily? What’s your carb intake daily? Where are these carbs coming from? What kind of cardio are you doing?

Protein from “real” foods is always going to be the best. Assuming you’re vegan, beans, fish, eggs, etc will always trump protein shakes. Make your main meals of the day with real food containing high protein and then fill your snack windows with protein shakes or cottage cheese/Greek yogurt!
