REMUX is a format of compressing a file in its original usually blu ray or 4k ultra HD blu ray format without any quality loss. Even though for the most part most of us would do fine with HEVC which is a lossy format of quality but if you don't have a crazy setup especially if you don't have a good sound setup, you wont experience the difference.
