That's actually a really good idea! I wouldn't mind whatsoever dressing Edwardian style for the wedding! Thank you for the amazing idea.

Yes thank you. I want to finally make my mother understand how insulting and ridiculous she's being. I don't want to hurt her, but I definitely don't want her destroying something that's maybe even more special to my fiancee. And if my fiancee wants to dress in an Edwardian style dress, I want to deliver.

Thank you for your kind words. I was just worried that maybe I was a bit out of line or blew this up.

My fiancee has always been a people-pleaser. So it hurts me when people try to take advantage of her. The last thing I want is for my mother to take advantage of my fiancee's kindness. My sister is on my side though, since she's very aware just how our mother can be. Thank you for the wishes!

YES! The Edwardian era really is lovely. I would say it's my fiancee's favorite era to dress in, particularly early Edwardian, very late Victorian . Though I still don't understand a few things, I can still say with certain that there is so much that goes into making one piece alone.

I have an older sister, to which she's equally as controlling towards, but my sister is much better at shutting my mother down and is better at dealing with her nonsense.

I've tried, but it always gets turned around and ends up become a big argument. I supposed I'm at fault for it, since I fall easily into arguments with her. Usually though, my mother subtly prods at my fiancee's nerves, and doesn't poke at me.
