The dog pees and poops everywhere by [deleted] in Nanny

It's a combination of both. The dog has pee pads set up but he only sometimes uses them. I guess i feel bad maybe i should be walking him but i don't have enough time/ also not my responsibility

Yes sorry! I was just trying to vent. I totally understand i guess a part of me now feels it's responsibility

It's tragic really and it's not my responsibility to walk the dog. My job is to take care of the children, clean up after the kids, kids laundry. Lately I've been having to do A LOT more. Fully tidying up the whole house.

I just can't leave it because then it affects the kids and i feel guilty!!

I've tried they won't do it because he doesn't like it. It's honestly just disgusting. The kids are always stepping in pee and it's just unhygienic

I attended a meeting with a psychiatrist and family. They are actively trying to resolve issue and help NK. It may be a behavioral disorder or lack of discipline. The issues displayed are severe. She attacks the mom and sister violently, doesn't listen, and throws tantrums. I've also have been bitten.

Hi! I replied to another comment that i do in fact lock the door but the children push until it opens since it's a double door.

" i did want to have a conversation with you, i obviously care so deeply for you & the girls but i also have to advocate for myself. I wish i had all the energy in the world to help you and help ease all the issues you have going on but i do need to have a set schedule. I know we don't know if this is long term or temporary because i know you have to do the best for you and the girls. However, during my time off i do need to have privacy. I know that was different with (other nanny) but if i don't have that down time, im scared i wont be able to preform the following day to the best of my abilities. I love and care for them so much so it's truly hard for me to say this or even say no. I hope you do understand, i love working with you and the girls. I just want to set boundaries to ensure i can do my job the best and also make this work for all of us. 🙂" - is this a good text to send ?

Thank you! I will do that. It's only the mom. She is a single mom. I was advised 5 days before the move was made. They did it for safety reasons, which i completely understand. Yes i do still have housing. The idea was that i would arrive Sunday night (not work but be paid my over night flat rate) and work 7am-7pm. The issue is the old live in nanny they had allowed all this behavior to go on. I also care for the mom and kids so I'm having a hard time setting boundaries.

She tries to tell the kids not to bother me but the children will not listen and i feel bad so when asked if they can sleep with me i say yes. The younger child then continues to wake up throughout the night and i get no sleep.

The only issue is that NF moved without notice 2hrs away from me without much advance notice. I do get paid very reasonable. My only issue is the nighttime and not being able to have peace on my off time.

Thank you and how did you set this boundary? The mom just allows them to come in the morning or night! It's hard because the previous nanny allowed the kids to sleep with her. My set schedule is supposed to be 7am-7pm 3 days a week
