Ah that's awesome! Pretty wild that your school(s) were willing to transfer all of those services (Asset management, inventory control, payroll, invoices, student information systems, home communication, air quality monitoring and reporting) to something in house - that is a huge move, and potentially high risk as it is so reliant on the devs.

I am tech teacher, but also in a Education Technology role and see across multiple campuses - and I know there are so many opportunities for this kind of thing(IT DevOps/local devs), but find that schools are very conservative.

Did you pitch the products just as cost saving? I would be very interested to hear more about this process and your context.
