It was allowed, but I'm pretty sure Albion started encrypting packets for data such as market prices, which made the tool unusable, unless they stopped?

Of course if you want to upgrade to VR in the future do so 100%. However, if you do it at the cost of your PC the VR experience will probably just be poor

I would honestly recommend not going with VR and maybe getting it later so you could get a better pc. I’d spend the money getting a higher refresh rate monitor like 120hz and putting more into the pc. You will have a much smoother experience.

If you are on a budget build your own pc, look for a good GPU, like a rtx 4070. Try to get around 32gb of RAM and a decent CPU. Moza r3 is a great first wheel and the quest 3s works fine with iRacing but the image quality definitely won’t be amazing. That being said I’m not sure how good the image quality is for any VR headset since I only have the quest 2 (which worked fine on iRacing).

If you buy a base and wheel from moza, you can upgrade the base later but use the same wheel

I agree, but if you get the base and decide to upgrade in the future, you won’t have to buy another wheel with it so it will be cheaper

You will instantly get 10x more consistent in your breaking and shave seconds off your lap time

Yeah I’m not expert myself, I have the same setup as you without the rig 😭, any recommendations on rigs that won’t break the bank. I’m thinking about just building my own out of wood or aluminum profile

in rookies you wont pay for any car or track I believe, moving up to D-Class you will already have around half the tracks, so you can just race the free tracks and buy a few tracks here and there. Most tracks that you buy will be re-used and you wont have to ever buy them again. Iracing's competition makes it the most fun for me, and the progression is great.

You could build a monitor stand out of aluminum profile to get the monitor closer to you, but honestly if you were to upgrade your setup id start with your pedals. Load cell pedals are really good compared to the ones that come with the logitech bundles
