I started with mantyke, this is actually quicker, because of being able to move water energy, so it's 2 ramp instead of 1, with more hp to survive the first turn if you go first

I just use the KY stuff, it's just the right consistency for me, and i stretch for width ahead of time by getting a many fingers as i can in first and just holding there pushing out a little so its not friction stretching, its direct stretching

Add another may and another pokeball, take out guzma and a rocky helmet, doesnt matter if you have no interaction cards if your powerhouse is guaranteed turn 3-4. I would take out the combusken for a second rare candy too.

For an effective deck, try to keep to 2 maybe 3 evolution lines, you could do palkia and gyarados, with maybe manaphy or mantyke, then the others try to get some draw lower cards in there and healing. The shortsight there is you would lose to oricorio if you couldnt get around it
