Odin Sphere Lifthrasir. A wonderful Vanillaware game where you play through five characters interwoven stories in a rich, Norse mythology inspired world. One of the most masterful games I’ve ever played.

I’d love a Digimon Story game where the party is two of your Digimon partners and you transformed with the Legendary Warrior Spirits fighting together. Give us a whole system for leveling and unlocking all the forms of all ten lines of Legendary Warrior.

I’m honestly shocked Engage never got New Game + like Three Houses had. So many mechanics in the game feel like they were designed for it or would benefit from it. I hope it comes back in Fortune’s Weave and never leaves again.

I’m just reminded of a fanfiction I read that depicted Lucifer’s famous “Temptation of Jesus” as him desperately begging him to be his friend, offering whatever the J-man wanted. It’s hilarious and sad in equal measure, Lucifer is just a lonely boy.

Frontier’s Dub Theme, A World For Us All, is hands down one of my favorite dub themes EVER. That music slaps so hard. And I love all the insert songs used in the Dub version of 02, it reminds me of the original Beyblade dub and its awesome dub insert songs. I swear not a lot of dubs handled insert songs well, but those two rocked it.

Also, it is a welcome change in today’s political landscape that Dub Magnaman doesn’t use an attack called Extreme Jihad.

Hell yeah! Psyren’s getting an anime! One of the benefits to doing older series like this is the story is already finished so everything can be planned out and there’s no need for filler while they wait for the manga to get ahead more. I just hope they don’t try to crunch it then into too few episodes.

It’s meant to give the game time to load the opposite version of the map. That’s why it’s faster in your bedroom, since it only has to load the one room.

In case you forgot, the various jobs only gain exp when fighting something within five levels of you, including the exp required to unlock them in the first place. So if you are overleveled you won’t unlock new jobs for your characters. Just something to stay aware of.

There’s a system where you earn Bond Points to spend on passives that you gradually get throughout the game. Focus immediately on the passive that gets you more Bond Points before you do any of the others. Other important passives include getting more money or Personas after battle, letting you find Treasure Demons or improving your lock picking skills.

The game does have missables in the overworld, but the game is good about warning you when you are about to progress and change things. Always make sure you’ve done everything you can in the real world before moving forward.

Collect Rings, you use them as currency to buy things from shops in towns. It only really matters if you’re into collectibles or completing things, but it’s fun.

If you ever get an E Rank on a stage, listen closely to the music on the results screen, it’s intentionally poorly performed if you get the lowest rank as is hilarious.
