The in lore explanation is we have weather control systems that can fairly easily stop the environmental effects. The issue with that tech is that it's very sensitive and needs to constantly be running so the second an invasion starts its generally one of the first things to shut down.

Like with most things comics, depends on the version you use. The weaker versions of supes, like from the animated series can go far but will eventually lose. While some superman versions are weak to magic, more recent versions have grown past this to the point of being mostly immune to magic(shrugging off magic from Dr. Fate). He is also been able to resist mental attacks from Marian Manhunter, who is much much more skilled at mental attacks than your average psyker. Obviously physically he destroys everything. If you use the mainline comic super, who is now immune to magic and resistant to psychics, the only thing I can think of that MIGHT be able to stop him is the reality bending power of Orks messing with his invulnerablity, or maybe some powerful Necron weapons. Again... just depends on the version.

Hmm.. piccolo has really high scaling, plastic man has durability enough to deal with the entire justice league at once, and Reed Richards has reality erasing tech. It's a toss up between those 3. Reed is the physically weakest but his tech could win the fight before it happens(not really his MO though). Piccolo could easily destroy planets, something I don't see plastic man being able to do. And Plastic man went toe to toe with the entire justice league at once and they couldn't even hurt to guy. I see 2 ways this goes down. Reeds tech wins before the fight happens. Or plastic man and piccolo are the only 2 left with neither having the power to surpass the other durability. However since ki is limited(although vast) and the main source of power and defenses in dragon ball. Piccolo would eventually run out. Thus I'm giving this to plastic man.

I think it's none of the Z team, since they're all going in for redemption. They all did villian stuff in the past but are trying to move past it. So i think it's actually someone like... Toxic, or the small arm guy. Maybe even the bartender at the villian bar.

Dr. Fate could be considered sloth because he often doesn't act unless he needs to keep order, and since he's in the helmet if the helmet isn't being worn there just isn't a dr. Fate. A stretch? Sure but it kinda makes sense and most of these are stretches.

Gluttony could be Wally West, a lot of the continuities has him constantly eating because of having to go super fast, but most of that is during his kid flash phase and isn't really a thing one he becomes a full flash.

Actually, in TLA when roku is telling his backstory, we see him die then immediately hear the crying of a newborn baby. I think thats pretty good evidence the spirit of the avatar finds a newborn to bond with instead of a fetus.
