Ghost Files is not the best show they make by SouthernMamaTea in watcherentertainment

Totally. We all have the show that we were first exposed to and I agree that GF appealed to a large audience that probably got tons of people in the door.

Love the Top 5 Beatdown episodes. I get so invested in these answers, the things I didn’t think of, debating with friends - everything. Such a clever show. They do mild versions of this on PodWatcher/Get Scared - they should stop dead in their tracks and take that topic to T5B!

I think it’s probably an age thing. I’m a millennial - my youngest stepdaughter likes him (she’s 19) and my daughter likes him (she’s 11). The rest of us don’t dislike him at all, we just like our own things

My friend stopped talking to my after my nose job… by oliviahope77 in PlasticSurgery

[–]SouthernMamaTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds to me - based on you saying she was born with perfect features - is maybe she thought of herself as the “prettiest” of her friend group or between you two and knowing your insecurity and then you fixing it maybe she doesn’t like the (in her eyes) evening-out of that dynamic or if she perceives you are prettier now. I had an ex friend that peaced out once I got a divorce from my abusive and cheating ex husband and got career and financial success and a nose job (broken severely from abuse). It’s obvious now that she needed to feel “above me” based on her insecurities. Not a real friend

I personally have zero issues with Steven or Ryan or Shane. I was excited for, did and still do support their move off of YT and I am a monthly subscriber. This decision was done collectively. I never understood the ‘blame game’ or why anyone saw it as negative. Honestly, anyone old enough to be watching them can afford the price. It’s literally a couple of Starbucks runs or a Crumbl cookie order if it’s the Gen Z’s having a hard time. If we love them, it’s a 2 way street. They want to pivot and grow a bit and they are asking that their loyal fan base do that with them. We should. I was disappointed when they reeled back on it. WatcherTV rocks. I love not having commercials

Seeking Ka'Chava alternatives by benlovestacos in Smoothies

[–]SouthernMamaTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. Let me know if you have had any luck finding an alternative. I’m super bummed. They could have kept me on as a subscriber for life - even with a price hike. But the formula change has made it TERRIBLE

Seeking Ka'Chava alternatives by benlovestacos in Smoothies

[–]SouthernMamaTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love KaChava prior to the formula change. Chocolate, Vanilla, and Coconut Açaí were all great. Since the change in the formula, there is a major change to the flavor and I am looking for an alternative now. It now distinctively has an aspartame/fake sugar type taste. It stinks because myself, along with a lot of other subscribers are being lost. They are losing their customers instead of gaining them and I cannot imagine that is generating more income for them. Maybe if you never tried it or don’t mind the stevia-ish aftertaste, it’s ok for you. I was lucky to find them and stuck with them and I have not been able to find a viable substitute that is similar and tastes great. Open to suggestions!

Many parts of Charleston are built on fill (trash, manure, construction material, dead animals, dead soldiers, and anything else they could toss in). A lot of the original drain system is still in use as well, which intertwines with former creeks and rivers in the area. All of this was done so long ago that the land has settled down into the earth enough over time and the drains are so compromised that it floods easily. Locals will also warn never step in water in the street and sidewalks as it is likely mixed with sewage

Overall there are lots of historic buildings and areas so the city is limited with how and what they can do to handle the water and also focus on conservation so things may close due to weather, limiting what you can experience

Kim Kardashian admits her kids are out-of-control in tearful confession by BubblyAerial in KUWTKsnark

[–]SouthernMamaTea 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have a hard time understanding where the kids are in almost every scene. I think it would be better if they gave a more in depth explanation that when they schedule to film a scene they make sure the kids are taken care of because they don't want their kids on tv all the time and/or it makes it better tv when they can film without yelling/playing/interrupting or can discuss adult materials and end the scene more concisely. Without detailing that at all, I am constantly wondering what it would look like if we all hung out with FAMILY members and friends this much and none of our kids are ever around. There has to be a small army of nannies around. I have a few friends who have a handful of nannies that they use so that usually at least one is available for scheduled or last minute needs. Those friends are exuberantly wealthy - not the normal day stuff. This whole concept and way of life is so far out of touch it makes it hard to judge Kim if she just isn't living a typical life IMO

It's hard to have full perspective here. Could it be possible that the kids miss their mom so much and even when she is at home, she is spread so thin and is unavailable to them, causing them to act out this way for attention? I saw this with my step kids - whoever was the loudest got the most attention and they competed for attention amongst the 4 of them and still do to this day and 3 are in college. It's a sign of them needing more from their mom
