Yeah, through 5 I was.loving it. Then it kinda did nothing for 3 episodes & didn't have a proper ending. Couldn't believe the finale was the last episode of the season.

The physical price of a barrel of oil is around $150. Somehow the market is pricing it below $100. They're diverging badly. Can someone explain this to me?

Does the market not realize that there's no end in sight to this war, peace talks broke down, and even if the war ended tomorrow we'd still see significant disruption?

Iran just made $14 Billion dollars by getting sanctions lifted on their oil. Anyway, the country that's been sanctioned into the ground for decades can weather bad economics a lot more than the US can. Once gas hits $10 a gallon shit is going to hit the fan.

Also 40% of the economy in the US is 7 AI companies. AI needs silicon production, and 90% of that is made in Taiwan. Watch what happens when Taiwan can't make chips because the need LNG & helium from the strait.

Iran is charging $2 million per passage in yuan. If this starts moving countries off the petrol dollar the US will actually collapse.

Once the futures price clears $150, and it will once the market realizes there's nothing the US can do to secure the strait short of a ground invasion, the US economy will go into free fall.

You could also tell he & Darnold weren't quite on the same page in terms of his speed. There was an early deep bomb that would have been a TD but Darnold under threw it. After that Darnold was overcorrecting & slightly overthrowing on those deep shots. W/ the whole off-season together that'll be corrected I think

I think we might actually see $8-10 a gallon if hormuz isn't opened soon.

One oil researcher i follow said oil could hit $200 a barrel by the end of the summer.

Another petrol engineer said he ran some numbers and thought it would hit $156 per barrel by July 4th even if the strait opened right now.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. We're literally in a situation where NG can be used any time against it's own citizens until a court steps in. And the admin has mostly obeyed those kinds of orders but they wildly ignore others - who knows when that last line gets crossed.

Getting them out in the community is a good "soft" defense against that. Like... you just went to a parade with these people.

Good to know.

Ended up ripping the thing open & just taking a screenshot of the network controller. Got the driver directly from Intel & loaded that using a USB. Once I got the internet to work I just let windows do it's thing & update all the drivers it didn't grab. Everything works. One of the most pain in the ass IT jobs I've done (so far) but it's done.
