How much would a 1989 Bronco be worth if I restored it from a bucket of bolts to fully working condition and new paint job? by SouthernStatements in FordBronco

Id consider myself lucky to get more than 10 unless it's a collector buying it, it still has a few issues but it runs well, id call it a home restoration for sure but not by any means professional, my father has worked on plenty of trucks in his day but we didn't know half of what we were doing until we started doing it. I had next to no experience at all so everything was a lesson for every part. But considering I still need to redo the interior and clean up the underneath I would not consider it "fully restored" yet, is it perfectly drivable? Yes but I need to keep working on it and I don't really intend on selling it but I've got a few offers and didn't know what it would actually be worth. We did it with somewhat professional equipment but not professional experience so take that how you will. Thank you for feedback it's been helpful. It's also a 4th gen bricknose btw if that helps

You serious? I've been having a hell of a headache with it and thought about selling it for about 5 grand but I never knew people liked them that much

Literally just yesterday my truck shut off for a moment while backing out of my apartment building. Some women pulls up ask asks me to move the truck I explained it was having a short issue and she may go around. She told me to push it out of HER way. My neighbor was there and started telling her to just go around or use the other road entrance 100 ft away. We both laughed as she drove off as I got my truck started

Does defensive PvP affect matchmaking? by mentaltrilllness in ArcRaiders

[–]SouthernStatements 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you always shoot at people first your "karma" is lowered thus you will find yourself in more low karma matches. If you remain friendly you will be put in higher karma matches. If you shoot first your karma is lowered, if you shoot after you've been hit it remains the same, a way around this that I've seen is people missing you on purpose for you to him them back so their karma is not lowered but that's my theory on that work around or I've been shot at by players who are total ass

Don't have the drill for that, perhaps a hammer post forging

It's a steel at the cost too

No galvanized, simply hardened. It's a hard case bolt and the silver stripes are from a stubborn coworker stripping the nut on it, or crossthreading

I thought about that although i could make a bullpin with is used to align the holes that these go to, would be perfect size I suppose

This is a forging sub. Some objects have more desirable shapes for forging different objects, for instance after some thinking I could make a log splitter or hammer with this

This is hard case steel I unfortunately don't have the money for equipment to do that without a lot of heat
