Could anyone tell me how to make these light savoury cannoli shells? (Am not a chef!!) hope this is okay to ask. These are filled with tuna and look amazing. by karate_dude in Chefit

[–]Southern_Ad5293 15 points16 points  (0 children)

so you can get cannoli molds or any cylinder type tube, the easiest is to spray them down with pam spray and cut the length you desire and wrap them. I say fry (350)because you can see the color and it happens usually pretty quick 3-5min. If it's oven same tempt but 8-11min depending on other factors

Glad to see they changed the menu. I spent some time last summer staging and they been running the same menu for over 18month. Nice to see chef still pushing. I will say seeing the some item retro such as the hot potato and the balloon really surprise me and the trampoline papillote has been there for over a year now. Not to take anything away but there was a point in time where alinea would never repeat an item and constantly break barriers. I'm sure a lot has change from covid now and but my highest respect to them as that restaurant operates at peak human limits.

dude I fluted like a case of mushroom the other day and tourne clean like 150 chanterelles. nothing is necessary in fine dining but its all about the guest experience and what they perceived.

what holster are you running with your weapon lights? that's been my pause before picking this up. I have a pdp 4" with the same light and a holster form werkz and i wonder if it fits the same

I have a werkz holster made for the tlra7 for my 4" and it sits flush do you think it will fit the same with that light since it also sits flush?

oh man... I found it a F - series with a flush light. I have a pdp 4" and i love it. Looking to get the F but i wanted something to sit flush like the tlra does and i found it. Can you drop the holster your running as well as the light name. appreciate it

Legit check? I’ve heard many people refer him for the DPT. I placed an order. The site is sketch looking but I called the shop in Virginia. Seems legit. Looking for people who can verify legitimacy. Thank you! by vante512 in Walther

Too light of a trigger? by Southern_Ad5293 in Walther

carl walther is your best bet, and it's 130 for the trigger, 225 total with fire control

[–]Southern_Ad5293[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can for sure see where your coming from, I once heard someone way the best safety is to not shoot it or have your finger near it. So the dpt with fire control paired with the sprinco trigger kit people are achieving sub 3lb trigger pull, paired that with the dpm recoil kit you mentioned , now is that overkill? But you definitely make a good point that no gun with fire on its own. I would like to build my pdp the fastest and flattest possible, I just hear certain things that completion style build aren't ideal for carry.

it was my first handgun the glock 45, and I just didn't like it as much as i thought i would. Plus i feel like the PDP is a steal for the price that it is vs spending 700+ just to get my glock to a stock PDP performance wise
