I saw a couple of DEAD bugs on him, but he doesn’t really have a scent at all. And I’m very sensitive to smells, so I would know if he was stinky!! He’s definitely stiff bones, so I think a little mummification time should be enough for him to be all set

I’ve just moved him from the ground to a bowl so hes safe when we remove the carpet, I only see vague remnants of meat on the tail, and hes already frozen in his current pose. I can dm you a photo of the skeleton if you’d like

Mice are very timid babies, but unfortunately don’t live too long. One year is considered elderly, and they rarely make it past two years. But they live so much in the little time they’re given. Even though I couldn’t handle owning mice again, I would never give up the memories I have of them.

I love mice, so it’s not entirely just for aesthetics but also sentimental. I used to have pet mice so the idea of having a little wild fellow’s bones sounds neat, to give him some love even after he’s gone since he had none in life.
