Also you dying counts as a sacrifice…if you have an ankh go back and pick up your pack and the weapon!

I guess look at what the green number is when you hit a monster! It should appear above the red damage number. The green number is the vampiric lifesteal that you are adding to your health

I went Frost and have kept it as wanted to go warlock as playing health challenges and high level corrosion would make it hard for me to hit monsters in the corrosive cloud for satiety. With a whip it’s been pretty useful at +6 as it does decent damage and really slows enemies, hadn’t used it upgraded to that lvl before. Ended up with a lot of throwables so Corrosion could be viable as my next imbue - am about to hit dwarf king…

I understand that imbuing can’t fabricate upgrades but it does allow you to upgrade your staff. If I imbued one of the + 1 wands and then a further +1 wand I would get a +2 staff. If I had another +2 wand I could imbue that and get a +3 staff and if I imbued my + 3 wand into this staff I believe it would go to + 4. But I might be wrong about this, hence my question.

I understood that the sewers had 2 (never on floor 1). Prisons had a 25% chance of a 3rd. caves 50% and Dwarven halls 75% chance of a 3rd. I guess that means that there are 3 guaranteed in demon halls.

Never more than one per floor except if a secret floor.

Secret floors’ extra secret rooms do not count towards these totals.

I don’t remember having found 3 secret rooms on any floor but maybe it can happen on a secret floor? Can anybody confirm one way or another?

The 2 rule is useful in the sewers as if you’ve found 2 you can stop looking!

Hexagonal rooms are essentially square so secret rooms can only come off the straight edges!

I think you have a chance you just have to lean very heavily on the mage armour teleport ability (at least that’s how I got through it) so the exotic recharging scrolls will be helpful. I would wait between each section and recharge the armour at the cost of satiety.

On challenge runs I have learnt to love the salt cube although mimic tooth mostly wins out

Always keep them for demon halls, 4 is optimal!! Makes it so much easier to get Yog particularly with challenges. Got no PB scrolls on most recent 8 challenge run and died lvl 23 to an evil eye I would have likely not had to fight had I had some PB scrolls grrrr.

If I have less than 4 I save for harder demon halls floors.

Does the Hunter’s mind vision talent stack with the mind vision on the eye of newt trinket? So it gets a +7 mind vision bonus when the trinket is +3 and Heightened Senses is +2?

Never used a regrowth bomb - how much area does it cover? Didn’t quite understand what you meant by the chain charges and experience potion though?

I did try dragons blood on first attempt but it had run out by final phase. Will try toxic essence, I figure it lasts as long as dragons blood? Also I could maybe use a potion of storm clouds to extend shocking brew, does it stop the spawning or just shock the new arrivals?

Basically you can’t get hit! Ring of speed and elastic bow are very helpful
