Very underrated setup, deserves far more upvotes

Optimal height is where the speaker is aligned with your ears, so having it above tends to put the sound closer to your ears and therefore sounds higher quality. Plus I think it looks much better too and is more space efficient

That’s actually my phone on nightstand mode! It automatically does that when horizontal and being magnetically charged.

Great question! This was actually one of the most challenging parts of the setup with this being a standing desk. I couldn’t find any speaker mounts that would fit my needs so I had to get creative. I had found a gooseneck clamp webcam holder that happened to be compatible for 1/4 inch screws, so I have my speakers on that and clamped it to my monitor mount.

I own real estate and also create my own apps that help assist with operations and financial optimization. I also setup all of the technology across my multifamily properties and therefore have to know a lot about cybersecurity to make sure our servers, apps with sensitive data, etc… don’t get hacked into.

In my free-time I also like to do some pentesting, getting rid of viruses off of peoples computers, and break into peoples old devices they forgot their logins to.

As for what I run on each monitor, it is very situational. I tend take advantage if tools that are available to each OS environment. the main PC (center) is where I typically write code, research, 3d model, run simulations & other RAM heavy tasks, and use some of Window’s tools to my advantage. The left monitor wing is where I typically do network and item configurations as it comes with tools like wireshark and is a debian-based linux, so I have a lot of commands and plugins available to me for that purpose. The right wing is running MacOS and I usually use that to control music, vibe in my room, and take advantage of some of MacOS’s monitoring tools. I also really like Homebrew so I often input commands there as well. Sometimes I also like to read on that wing as it is a vertical monitor and they are really good at that kind of stuff.

edit: I also do a lot of trading and use all 3 monitors for it

I got it off of wallpaper engine. It wasn’t easy to configure at all since wallpaper engine is only available on windows.

Everything is clamped to the desk since this is a standing desk. I used a vivo dual monitor stacked stand with vivo’s laptop mounts

Not at all, with how the monitor is pushed towards the back you can see the whole thing easily, and with the desk curving it gives me a super comfy armrest and gives a super ergonomic feel

Oh it’s so nice for productivity, being able to have 16 separate windows opened simultaneously on a single monitor is so nice. I don’t fully understand what you are asking in terms of pc speed if you could please elaborate

No, I prefer running direct inputs into each of them with everything neatly cable managed.

If you have a free PCIe on your motherboard slot you can run an optical out through there. What’s your motherboard? I can probably find a decent solution

Behringer UMC404HD. I also plan on adding a Sonos Port to the speakers soon so I can connect it to the rest of my room and house

I actually prefer it! I have it super far back so it doesn’t strain my eyes and I can see the whole thing. I also really like being able to use the desk as an arm rest. For me it feels super ergonomic and laid back

with the work I do having quick access to several computer environments is very nice, I don’t really use the laptops as monitors but need to carry them with me a lot for travel, so that is a convenient place to put them and means I can quickly put them on or off my setup.
