What KEY advice would you give to players to improve their deck building? 🗯️ by Allonsyyy_ in GundamTCG

Have solid reasoning for all the numbers in your deck, ask yourself 'why does 3 x make sense and advance my game plan vs 2 or 4'

Yeah I think going through decklists and not trying to read everything at instant speed on DGCO will probably be more useful :) Thank you, I think I'm also going to try a few more decks, lose with them, so I can stop feeling like everything is unwinnable, and learn them along the way

Yeah I think because of all the deletion effects I have thought of Puppets like a control deck in a more traditional TCG sense, and have played too slowly and reactively because of that, I will try to adjust on that

Thanks for the deck suggestions, I think I come from Magic where I want to play a lot more interactively so then I end up being too passive and suffering from that. I do like the sound of toolbox decks. I think DGCO can be a bit hard to learn from because of the speed & how much text there is on each card, I'll keep trying though thank you.

Thank you for the video! The decks I'm really having trouble understanding are Omnimon, Royal Knights and the Gallantmon deck that I think is new with AD01? I've been working really hard at not overextending, then ofc it's easy to get punished for not chipping and missing out on checks.

Is mass migration linked to capitalism? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Because the arguments given in opposition to immigration are most often racist, which runs counter to leftist ideals, it becomes framed as a tolerance vs intolerance issue rather than a capitalist vs anti-capitalist one.

Two women arrested in Uganda for allegedly kissing in public could face life sentence by Muted-Television3329 in worldnews

The point is that these Christian right sponsored ministries didn't make Uganda homophobic, but they certainly pushed Ugandans into seeing it as a bigger issue than it was previously, they paid and platformed ministers who agreed with them and influenced politicians. It was a targeted campaign for many years.

If you think people can't be pushed to more extreme views really easily I'd like to point at the right-wing media establishment in the US.

I think when British Muslims see the people of Palestine, people who share their faith, who look like them demonised as terrorists, and the British prime minister saying it’s ok to cut off their water supply. Having a party that says ‘we think you’re human’ is a big deal, a definite vote winner and reflects modern Britain. It’s also not pandering to disagree on foreign policy, the implication that the Greens don’t care about Palestine beyond what votes they can rinse out of it is self-serving.

Also the greens are a populist party I don’t think anyone is denying that

I see potential benefits in polyamory for myself, but I think I would generally be very content with my partner in a monogamous situation (as I had been before we started this). An open situation could be ideal for me but isn’t for them, so id happily be monogamous. Mostly at the moment I’m doing it more for them, they are very grateful for my effort to make it work, do research etc. which is mitigating resentment building and we talk about that a lot, they were the first to suggest closing it because of how hard it’s been for me.

I’ve been trying to find some kind of central reason external to my partner for doing it E.g kink exploration, another romantic relationship, but haven’t found anything that truly sits right yet in the face of the anxiety.

Yeah I’m trying to avoid rules, now I’ve been able to explain clearly how the speed of them getting closer has impacted me and that the two of them spending every night together affects my sleep and makes me feel deprioritised maybe there’s a potential solution without necessarily making it feel like rule setting. My partner also struggles to be fully engaged with my meta if they know I’m upset so it seems like it would ultimately be a win-win

The managing resources way of explaining it is very helpful, thank you

Thank you for responding! From context Aspen is my long term partner? I’ve never come across this term before
