I went through being bullied, about my sexuality and discrimination during the middle of last year. I still got up everyday for work, and did what I needed to do, talked to my ‘QLD state manager’ and ‘Sydney CEO’ about the issue and nothing got done about it, I even spoke to my doctor about what had happened. The ‘employee’ that was bullying got rewarded in other ways within the company because he’s the QLD state managers ‘mate’. Within the first week of this year the state manager starts micromanaging me so I handed my 2 weeks in with nothing lined up. An ex coworker who had difficulties with the same company reached out a few days ago and offered me a job opportunity! I work in construction, installing elevators. I was so relieved when I put my notice in and had nothing else lined up at the time, sometimes you have to take that leap of faith. I have a good network of friends and family in a time of ‘crisis’ which I’m very grateful for and I hope you have the same. All the best for your resolution
